Return of the Jaxel-Dome! First Blood: Part Deux Results

Damn it, it gets me all hot and bothered when you all when you all talk fighting game stuff.

I personally, do believe that there is a limit to which anyone doing anything can reach but it's because of physical limitations more than anything. What MOST believe mistake for hitting a wall is a lack of ability (usually due to lack of practice) or a lack of understanding. As long as you're an able-body person, even if with training, there shouldn't be any reason you can't do something that someone else can. Going along with NoFace a bit, it really depends on your ability to understand the game, look at what you're doing 'wrong' or 'right' and why it's wrong or right and adjust accordingly. It's much easier to do if you have a good player observing what you're doing and helping you to understand yourself, but, even though I didn't go in depth with reasoning to Malice, that's why I always watch all of my SC games that get recorded.

Not to get involved in you guys' little spat, but you all do have perfect tools in Ramon (Who's king fuckin' beastly) and Woahhzz (who's a cutie pie). But then again, though it's probably because you all were like, "Who the fuck does this guy think he is?", when I tried to tell everyone in Philly ways to up there game, most of you all took to offense rather than actually listening to what I was saying. But, really, I'm just all about everyone getting better so they don't feel salty and quit the game when I win and talk my shit. Honestly, and you can ask all of the Chicago players, I have a little type of after-action-review type deal after each session where I ask them what they think of how I played. Still, I know it's hard for some people to swallow their pride and do something like that.

People are gonna believe what they want. There's only so much technical crap you can learn before it just becomes player reading and matchup knowledge. With emphasis on player reading.

When did this happen? I must've missed that conversation.

umm good job lobo? As always you never fail to impress :/ now on to people that actually matter (everyone else on the forums)

LP is right for the most part... People can mistake a wall for there "limit" but i know for a fact that nobody in my region has hit it! meaning one thing... you're all scrubs... and fail at finding patterns or solutions on the fly.

and Malice needs to stop saying Philly over ANYTHING till they can relieve some of the weight from poor woahhzz's shoulders... i mean c'mon, hes like 80lbs!

Well I can't say anything for *myself*, since I scrubbed my way into last place, but I can't help but notice that, regardless of woahhzz, Philly is still 4 of the top 5 there.

Hmmm.... the one time I decide to drop back in to this sad oh so sad community it just so happens to be when there is drama. What a sweet coincidence...

So I see Woahhzz won this huh? Did Thuggish win Cannes?

Ramon vs. Philly? Is there finally something interesting to see here? I see Whoazz has free victories since no one great is left to challenge him since everyone quit. You guys should hype this up since u need something/anything lol.

Who are you?

Case # ?? or ??? is it double or three digits now. I'm not exactly sure how many people left now.

Who am I? Continued...

1. Makes comments that contain high levels of sodium for the overly defensive.
2. Says things that other people are thinking but won't mention because it might make u look... well u understand.
3. X SC player who adores the game but hates the overall community for it. This is because he thinks the reason for its pathetic state and inevitable pathetic state shortly into the the life of SC5 when that happens is because of the community. Then again this isn't a personal trait so I take this one back. I mean its hinted at in other posts in this thread.
4. Light skinned slim brother, student and worker just to name a few. I can introduce myself more appropriately and in detail on a date if u like? How about it :D?

P.S

I only dropped by cause while lurking another fighting game forum I ONCE AGAIN passed by another X SC players comment about how shitty this community is and I figured hey let me see what's up. You'd be amazed how many comments u can run into that aren't pretty.

heh this I find a lot of people saying the same thing on mizuumi

its not that chuck...problem is if im going to stay playing this game...everyone needs to pick up the slack! everyone is quitting because there is no competition! And im about to do the same! after awhile everyone should be in the same boat in terms of player skill! by the time SC5 rolls around the only good players are the ones that quit while everyone else is still stuck in there own "our best player is winning why should we" stupidity! the real reason why we dont have a community is because our mediocre players have no DRIVE to win! i mean shit im in full time MVC3 mode now because at least they have the balls to WANT TO WIN NO MATTER WHAT! that's what separates players like Woahhzz n Me from other EC players is that we want to win more than anyone and learned how to adapt after losing a million times! every win that i get without touching the game for so long makes me like them less as a player...but NOT as a person because the SC community is still a second family.

Also cant someone talk shit without people thinking your an asshole here? jesus...fucking women i swear!
Hey hey hey, I'm an average player but I'm trying to be good competition. I just have problems putting stuff into practice or evolving as a player. I'd say I have drive(I've started playing offline even though i could've just coasted along online till SC5). IDK if I still fall into the category you're calling out, if not this is replying to an old post way too late and I'm sorry.

Respect my SC NYC God? I hope you aren't referring to that guy who I haven't heard from since September after getting wrecked by Mick and should have ran it back at NEC, along with disappointing the French who flew over here and were looking to play him. Think he's playing SF now.

If you are referring to yourself, you're still the man the beat, but that day is getting closer. It's going to be delicious.

And I hope the people popping in this thread aren't taking the trash talk too seriously. A little trash talk every now and then is a good thing or else things would be boring as hell which is usually the case since there's rarely people challenging each other and with the amount of people who've quit this game for one reason or another.

See you at the next tournament, or come visit Philly sometime and play some of this Calibur.

Ok, thanks for clarifying it can be hard to tell on the internet if someone is just talking trash with pals or being a douche. I'll get my ass beat but if I make it to DEV I want to play your Sophie. That goes for you too purple one, I don't really care if I look like trash against you guys but if I go all that way I'm playing everyone I can.

Maybe I just have fucked up friends and family, but I really don't take shit-talking seriously at all (and am often baffled when people get offended at the smallest 'insult'). But whateva. Really, we do this ish fun. Let's be real, I don't give a fuck what fighting game you're playing: you're not getting paid; you're not getting any ass (well, maybe, but I don't think it's an amount to write home about); and you're not getting a book/record deal. So, really, what's left other than to get better and shit on nuggaz? But maybe I'm just messed up. >_>

EDIT: Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule and having fun and all that bullshit is in there. But, then again, shitting on nuggaz and seeing the look on their face when they know they've been dominated and then conveying that message of that moment in time through voice to that person and the world is truly a beautiful thing.
