SC5 Good Games Thread

Late on shoutouts.

GGs to RedDjinn, Solo, Donutman, Temjin, Kurunai Sama, Dragonfall, and anyone else I forgot. It was totally fun.

On an unrelated note, I think now have a stronger purpose to play Forza 4 thanks to Donutman and Solo. Does anyone else on 8way play Forza 4?
 
I found out Krispy loves Forza. He told me when he when to buy it he got distracted and then never had another chance to buy it. Lol
 
I used to play Forza. But the lack of innovation in it with each new game kinda drove me away from the series. :(

How are you supposed to innovate on a fucking Simulation style racing game though? All they can do is add in more cars, tracks, and modes. Nothing in a simulation racing game is original content because of the fact it's simulation.

Solo come one man it's not that complicated. :P
Forza 2 had a mundane and boring career system. Same with 3 and 4. Though they did add in the whole Time Trials thing in 4 which I enjoyed for the short time I played it. Innovations comes in all kinds of forms. Not just the gameplay itself. Adding in track dangers, weather, actual realistic physics that don't send your car flipping because you put a tire on the safety strip.

I just play racing games because I love them. I'm not too picky about them unless it's a shitty arcade style racing game (I'll play some though). I don't know what you mean by "Track Dangers", I would like weather, and the physics aren't bad. I can't recall that scenario you said ever happening to me. What... must have been Forza 3... where driving a RWD car was the single hardest thing to do because you could do burnouts and shit with a 200hp car! wtf... Forza 4 is much better, they did a physics overhaul.

Track Dangers as in when someone wrecks you can't just drive right over the top of their bumper with no repercussions. :P
But honestly Forza started feeling like EA and their sports game BS when they started popping them out every year. So I lost interest. But seeing as how Bizarre Creations has been shut down I'll probably never see my favorite racing game again so I may be picking up the new Forza anyway. :/

Oh I see, I would like that also. Anything they can do to make it a more realistic simulation I'm all for. Also they make Forza every other year (main franchise entries at least), Horizon is the only game that has broken that. The reason you state is why I don't buy every Assassin's Creed game anymore. When I noticed they where making yet another game about Ezio after ACB I was like "Wtf is this supposed to be? Madden?!" Lol

^Fuck yeah son. I won many a milk/lunch money with some marbles yo. And even if I lost, Id just beat you up and take it. I was a troubled youth.

Just wanted to say, my heart will not lay to rest til I can beat a super pyrrha omega player consistently, I thought I'd never say this, but on the brighter side, I love losing, though it may scar me mentally, all I can do is learn and turn it around.


Even after 50+ losses...I'll still keep on fighting....

And no I won't pick a better character just in case you're reading this synraii (lol)

I know I can play better, but it's just a game after all, I proud of defeat but winning is what I strive for.
