Well I'll leave them with you for the 17th when I wipe the floor with your Ivy.
And bear in mind - I main edgemaster and play half the cast, do you really think losing 30 dmg in some combos will make me cry?

I'm not sure if I will be able to find the time to play against some random scrub so I don't know if you will see any =PP

GGs, I'm glad that we can connect. I loved that GI>CE whiff. One of the reasons why they should patch this move.

Where exactly do you live? I only get a somewhat decent connections with people who live on the east coast of USA and Canada. I live in central Europe.

I'm in Seattle, WA... probably about as far from you as possible.

Well, to be honest Kaz was the first person that I played in SC5 online from outside Europe and it was ok. I'm going to sleep now but tomorrow we can try to play if you want, I'd love to see how SC5's netcode deals with such great distances =) my PSN id is Ring_PL , be sure to leave me a message.

K k... will do... though I'm not usually on until after 9pm PST... so I don't know if we'll ever actually see each other.

I have played people from Taiwan and Japan with little problem... but other times it was pretty bad.

Yeah ggs ring, that's why i generally stay away from her CE, though I think it may have had to do with the range and possibly some lag. Hopefully Ill get my real internet back soon and maybe we can get Two bars!! Though for 1 bar it wasn't bad.

Also did you mean the patch is coming this month or the thread? I figured the patch would be either way before evo or the close future this seems like a odd time to drop it.
 
I've noticed it's fairly easy to punish players who like to stand up immediately after a CS animation with a CE, provided you do it quick enough to where they can't simply duck the CE throw. I'm not claiming this to be safe or even good, but I was surprised how much dmg can be done if they fall for it, just like it would be if they stood up into another CS.

I'm excited to hear about this patch... I hope it brings any of the things we could agree on as desired. If anyone gets official notes don't hesitate to let me know =D

Ehy guys, I'm new to the Ivy section but I've lurked here for many days lol =)
I really like her in SCV and decided she'll be one of my mains (along w Astaroth and maybe Voldo).
I've got some questions:

1) What do you think are the best setups for CS? I usually manage to grab the opponent with CS after a knockdown when he is standing up (fe: 1K, 9B, CS) but don't have much success when I try to use CS after strings like AA, BB, 1A, A+B,A because I get interrupted.
Do you think tactics like : AA, buffering CS, 4B (to hopefully stop the opponent move), CS could work?

2) How should I play her? I know everybody has his own style, but what's the general strategy a player must have in mind when using her?

3) Why some of you ask for buffs? I think she is very viable (I would never play Ivy if she was as powerful as in SCIV), Link proved she can win tournaments.
