Hey bruh, I believe we're gonna be having a gathering at GC in Lynnwood this week on Thursday. And of course we'll be having a session at my place in Ballard Friday. Hope you can make it out.
We'll be in Lynnwood this Thu, Mar 22 (details here) then back at Dante's on the 29th. If people can make it this week, please post up!
This month's Salty Runback will be held on a Sunday, April 1. This Saturday was taken and with the week before being NCR and the week after having events, this is the best that can be done.
Finally, Northwest Majors 4 has a date! It will be the first weekend of June on the 2nd and 3rd, with a Welcome to NWM event being planned for the 1st. The date, venue, and EVO games are all locked in. This is an official Road to Evo 2012 event. We'll be getting more details to you Thursday. Our website is www.NorthwestMajors.com and we're on Twitter @northwestmajors. Do us a favor and help spread the word down at NCR (just don't go overboard and upset the NorCal guys, we need them to come up after all >.>)
From early reports it sounds like this patch is trying to give me every reason to give up on this game :/ Every time Raph gets a little bit good PS nerfs the fuck out of him.
Good thing I picked up Aeon, I guess. But Aeon is about as fun as farting a little
Opponent recovers much more quickly after 6BB BE on hit, also less guard damage
SE A is about -6 on block instead of 0, SE B has less tracking
Prep K is even more - on guard, at least -16
The new stuns they gave him are shit and lead to almost nothing without meter
They nerfed his damage on Prep BBB and Prep K just to add those new stuns
And worst of all, 22_88B no longer leads to a decent combo unless you're near the wall.
There were some damage buffs on his BE and some meter-giving reduction on certain moves, but that's really not worth all this IMHO.
