Lizzy gets FC A, FC K, 4K, 6A or wsB after a blocked Sets 2A+B. Hardly "safe."

And Amy gets 6B,B off of ANY blocked Sets low.

There's not much point to testing this stuff in game when you can just read the moves that will hit right off of a frame data list.

Oh, and it'd be nice if you just updated the first post or two with the subsequent data. That way, it wouldn't be hard to insert a new run of it alphabetically just by editting the post.

This thread is already on it's way to be a huge mess otherwise.
 
I forgot to mention that 2A+B is being tested in mid fields where pushblock is a factor. I thought that was of common knowledge already. Should I put the unsafe part in corners too?

And Rico, you're wrong. Lizardman doesn't get that of 2A+B unless in corners. And Amy doesn't get 6BB from all her lows (2K, FCK, 11A and 11K). Try it yourself.

And another thing, frame data doesn't take into account pushblock. That's one of the reasons why I'm doing this. Perfect example is the 1AA to 1A:A where mid has pushblock so punishment varies.

I'll take your suggestion for editing.

And yeah, now that I think about it, I remember Amy's 6B,B whiffing over my head a couple of times after blocked lows.

Personally, I don't think you need to put in which moves will only hit in corners. Just so long as you point out in the main post that if an obvious retaliatory move isn't on the list, it's probably because it's whiffs due to pushback or post-block TC frames.

Sorry if I sounded like a douche in my post. This is good info and I appreciate the work. I've always thought that Sets' lows in general aren't THAT unsafe and a lot of this data is backing up that belief.
 
Good work, while Setsuka's lows aren't THAT good, they're not to be forgotten.

You should rename the topic : Setsuka low study, we can manage to put good infos/tips here !

11A is pretty spamable by itself (reward >>> risk), and FC 2K is kinda good.

2A+B can be used on various characters since : it does decent damage on the CF jauge, the reward can be way better than the risk (against Nightmare or Hilde as an exemple).

11K can be used on wakes, I often do 236~1K when my opponent is OTG, it has deceiptive range and animation, create some mix up/frame trap on hit with JF umbrella and 236~A+K B, leads to GI setups and once they learned not to hit back creates throws setups.

Are you sure Mina's WRK will punish 11A? My friend and I tested it yesterday and I was able to block every time.
 
Well 11A is -15~16 (range dependent) according to the data and Mina wsK is i16 I believe so that could be why you're getting different results. 11A simply has different recovery at different ranges.
