Shred apart! Ivy Punishment Charts

This is what happened to me today when I was doing Xiba's punishment list (more specifically, testing his 6BK BE). I forgot to post the video:

Yeah, I figured that one out when I was playing against my friend last week... I meant to post it up. But it really upset the guy I was playing with... it kills a lot of Xiba's offence.
 
A couple things while I was practicing NMs charts...

FC grab can be punished by 6K/WS K/FC 2A
3AA, can only punish 6B8(not k) at closest
3B~NSS, 214B does not beat his NSS K close up
22_88A, JG punish with CE (don't have to be closest)
GS options, JG punish with CE, all but BE option
"2B+K BE... JG FC 1B" That looks so cool!
CE, JG punish with CE... do it. (EDIT: SSL_SSR, 214A punishes NM CE for about 100-110 dmg)

I feel like Viola and Ivy are the same "type" of character if you know what I mean.

HAHAHA, ok, but in online matches is a shit >.< i want take when she jumps in the air, but sometimes by the lag does not fit T_T
 
I hope this video help you to have an idea about the best way to punish CEs

This will be helpful. The only thing is, some of the punishes would be better if you landed a 6B+K or 44[A]6 on a BT opponent. For example, SS Sieg's at close range and get him BT. Or JG second hit of Pyrrha's CE, SS, then get her BT.
 
@ 0:39 - I thought you couldn't JG CEs?

Also with Leixia's I thought she did the whole thing even if you block?
 
Yeah just goto training mode and cue up Nightmare's CE and try to JG it. So satisfying. I can actually JG his if I don't get caught up by the GI which usually happens in an actual match.

If I may suggest that you edit the post to include under the video when a new character's CE is being presented. If possible. ^^ Oh! What about Devil Jin? xD
 
MAXI STANCE PUNISHMENT for Ivy
RC = Right Cross RO = Right Outer LO = Left Outer LI = Left Inner BL = Behind Lower
4 = an option during any of Maxi’s stances where he continuously changes stances while backing up
aGI (a.k.a Neutral Guard) = an auto GI option during any of Maxi’s stances

*All punishment options were tested at closest range on left side (1P). Inputs were performed so that the move would always come out as soon as possible. All aGI punishment options were performed as quick as possible, although aGI CAN be delayed and change some results. *

AA to RC
3K beats all and will combo with 6B8 on his B
3B beats all but G and aGI and 4
6KB beats all but G and 4

6A to RO
2K beats all but 2G
3K beats all but B and G
2A beats all but aGI
22K beats all but 2G and K (which will whiff)
6KB beats all but G and B
3B only beats K and 4

3A to LI
2K beats all
214B and 2A beat all but aGI
3B beats all but aGI and B
4A beats all but A (which will trade) and (B)
6KB beats all but B

4A to BL
4A beats all but will trade with A; however dash bK will still combo
3B beats all but aGI and A which will whiff

FC 3A string to RO (on hit) – up to 3 hits
44 (backdash) and guard K mixup if hit (GI K and it will combo with 6B8 for 47 guaranteed)

FC 3A string to RO (on guard) – up to 3 hits
FC 1B will beat everything and punish but only launch on K and B
2A is a safe option in case he stops the string earlier than you expect

BB to LO
QS and guard is a safe option
6KB and 3K beat all but trades with B (Maxi can combo 66B after the trade with 3K)
88B beats all but K and some 4 options
Slight sidestep up + 3B will only lose to K if done right

6B4G (immediate cancel) to LI
2A beats all but A, and LI A hurts a lot so you might want to just block

6B4, G (next earliest cancel) to LI
At closest range, 3B beats all but B which will whiff

1B to RO
214B beats all but G and K which will whiff
Full QS up + 3B beats all but A and G and K (which will whiff)

4B to LO
214B beats all but K (which will trade only up close) and 4
3B will CH on K/lose to A/combo with 6B8 on B/lose to some 4 shenanigans/beat aGI/punish 6KB beats all but B

8B to LO
9B beats all but aGI
88B beats all but 4
6KB beats all but B and 4

a+bG to RC
3K beats all and will combo with 6B8 on his B
3B beats all but aGI and will combo with everything but B

Dash in and iFC 1B to beat all and punish
JG last hit followed by quick taunt followed by instant 6B8K to punish with sass

11A to BL (on hit, by entire move)

44B to RO – any suggestions for better options??
6B8 beats all but G and A (only BE version can beat B, if BE is applied instantly)
214B beats all but G and K (which will whiff)

RO B to RC
6KB beats all
3B beats all but aGI

LI B to LI
3B beats all but A and aGI and 4
66A beats all but slightly charged B
66[A] beats all but A

LI (B) to LI
JG punish with 3B (possible CH), CE, iFC 1(B), or 1B BE.
Otherwise you will be hit with a guaranteed A

RC B to LO
FC 1(B) beats all but B
6KB beats all but 4

LO B to RC (doesn't seem to be in move list...)
3B beats all (including LO B,K) but aGI

BL BB to LO
6KB beats all
3B beats all but aGI (6B8 combo and all!)

2B+K or 8B+K
React quickly with 6KB or 3B

Added more characters. Viola is on the list as well, but a lot of her moves can be altered in conjunction with SET 6B+K so they can become safe on block.

I agree, that bish must die!
I'm a lot better at fighting viola these days
but 44A BE is still stupidly good when they step then punish you.

Yeah, it's her best whiff punisher. Right now I think it's best to GI the orb on block if you have meter. JG can be extremely risky because 44A BE can be delayed a lot.
