SoulCalibur V: Alternate outfits

One of the things I like about 3D fighters is the fact that you can choose different outfits instead of just color changes. SoulCalibur is one of the games that has the best 2p costumes, that sometimes even look better than the originals. I made this thread to discuss about what you would like the alt costume of your favorite characters to be like, as well as to make an archive of what we already have:

Ivy: Christmas snake skin.
Tira: Bird-inspired.
Patroklos: Generic blue Greek soldier.

Now, this is what I would like for certain characters:

Siegfried: Something that looks like his SCIII 2p, with short wild hair and a less armored outfit.
Mitsu: Something more armored, like his SCII 1p.
Yoshimitsu: His Tekken 6 2p. That was his sickest costume EVER!
Astaroth: This is always a hard one... Something ispired in his SC 2p would be nice.
Voldo: I really liked his SCIV 2p, something similar would be cool.
Pyrrha: Something like Soph's SC 2p would be beautiful.
Maxi: We'll probably just see a recycled 2p costume... again.

What do you guys think?

Thing's I'd like

Natsu=Black Pajama/Stagehand outfit that actually covers her entire body and isn't overly form fitting.
Lexia=Something like her mom's P1 in SC1/2/3 or 1/2 P2.
Pyrrha=Cassandra's SC2 P2/4 P1. So hilariously unfitting.

Mitsu: yeah,more armored,but guys please,not that faggy SC2 1p. SC3 1p FTW.

Sieg: now it's cloth turn i suppose,so maybe a SC3 2p style or anyway a mix clothes-iron chainmail, I really like that Aragorn-Sieg sketch i hope they use it for him

Maxi: i've no idea,,but please,be fucking original. Try to surprise, see Maxi come back identical after 17 years is one of the few fails of SCV chara design

Ivy: REVEALED. I don't like it

Tira: REVEALED. I like it very much,one of best Tira costumes ever. Great mix of dark style and flashy jester colors.

Pat: REVEALED. Lol i probably influenced it (for who remember that thread),but still as much i'm honoured is'nt what i was hoping to see as Pat 2p

Cervy: Gold armor bitches!

Raph: i will totally like something like SC2 2p,but will not happen,Raph is gone in teh fucking halloween road, anway in the blurry pic is probably him!

Night: It will probably reveal a lil bit more,but i suppose for story reasons face will still be hidden

Voldo: 2p is ever for the awesomeness. Please,fuck SC4 2p, give me back the sun-moon double side SC3 2p,easily best(visually and as concept) Voldo costume ever

ZWEI: can't be worse tha 1p. The actual worse chara design of SCV(and maybe not only V) can only get better

Hilde: for her i see perfect something noble-militaristic a la SC1/2 Ivy 2p... way more logic than that princess dress

Natsu 2P: Hopefully with a cool facemask. Either simple like SC1 Taki or a demon mask like SC3 Taki, but please no Kunimitsu-like fox mask.
I also liked SCIV Taki's Demon Armor shoulder and knee parts i hope we'll see something like that again.

Impressions on Ivy: Very sexy indeed. I love the gold suit and spiraling white fur!~
Impressions on Tira: Love the dark phoenix theme! The costume and her childish hair are a good example of her ever-changing personality.

Leixia: Red/pink theme. Typical Chinese dress (with a little originality). Chinese buns sound nice.
Viola: White/gray theme. A more flowing costume, darker hair with long bangs and a long swirling ponytail, blue roses? (might be too Zafina-inspired, but hey)
Siegfried: More cloth-like, like his SC3 2P
Nightmare: I also agree with a SC3 2P-esque. Gladiator-like, obscuring part of his face (though his SC3 2P allowed us to see a little of his mouth, I'd like that), showing some muscle. xD
Raphael: A very formal suit. Maybe a double tail coat with that white neck scarf thing that stuffs into your vest. Also, maybe half a mask like Phantom of the opera?
Voldo: Something jester-related. SC3-2P related.

Hilde: An outfit inspired by the soldiers of 300, ecept a female version of it :)
cant really think of other good 2p's for the other chars (mainly cause im not interested in em :P

That design there takes a crapper on both of Pat's current costumes. Stylish and correct for an ottoman.

I've twittered about the possibility for us to make that suit ourselves. But really, just give Pat a third costume, he is the main hero isn't he? :P


Why the other won out? Well, first off, the same people who would vote for Z.W.E.I. as best SCV design.

Pretty sure it was a vote of "do you like it vs/not like it", the 2nd was only shown after people thought the first choice looked a tad silly (the hat is stupid looking, unlike say... a peaked cap).

Maybe they'll have 3p outfits? I hope so, that red Ottoman soldier outfit is amazing!

My thoughts -
Cervantes - something traditionally Spanish. Kind of like a bullfighter or something with a sombrero.
Hilde - Pink princess dress with lots of layers, but also armor. Hair long and wavy with braids.
Ivy - (this is her 3p outfit) purple and blue Arabian blouse and matching bikinni, but lion skin wrapped around her waist going to her knees. Lots of gold necklaces and jewelry, and very striking, dark makeup. Hair is still grayish white, but there's a lot of it and it towers above her head and goes down halfway her back, with a gypsy headband.
Mitsurugi - Samari regelia.
Yoshi - something amazing, I hope!
Natsu - Japanese kimono that's torn to her knees and the obi is secured right beneath her boobs. Wrappings around her forearm give her more mobility. Hair something traditional.
Leixia - Long, tight black pants that go up to her navel (like Xianghua's 1p in SC, except black) and a red blouse that's reminiscent of Xianghua's 2p in SCII. Hair is different.
Viola - hot gypsy, like Fatal_Exodus suggested =P
Pyrrha - Another dress, but dark blue. Hair is in one long braid.
Siegfried - sexy wild man
Tira - (3p) dreadlocks and sorceress mini-dress.
