I don't think they look similar at all. May be Phyrra/Lili but not too much.
In fact, SC good thing is that its cast is different to the most fighting games out there, with the japanese mc, the blonde rival, the big tit kung fu girl and the old master.
Of cours SC has some cliché characarters such as the grappler or the freak, but in general and compared with most fighting games out there its designs are pretty different.

For ages I always thought that Xiaoyu and Xianghua were quite similar, Xianghua's 66K and 6K corresponding to Xiaoyu's f+3 and ff+3.
Also, Leo and Xiba really aren't that similar.

i think the only similarity at all that i come across is Mina and Chang. i got the two mixed up back in the day when i didn't know what soul calibur was and i saw Mini in SC2 for the first time.

yeah I don't think there are very many similarities at all.
xianghua has some of ling's animations ... so does talim [or vice versa].
the only thing similar about lili and pyrrha is that they both have blonde hair. their eye color is different, their personalities are totally different, etc ...

-Xianghua/Leixia & Xiaoyu
-Z.W.E.I. & Miguel (At least personality wise. Not to mention that they both look like they have the same body build, only Miguel is slightly hair. Not that I'm complaining though. :3 )
-Algol & Ogre (They don't look incredibly the same, very different but I do think of Algol as the "Ogre" in SC.)
And that's pretty much it. I mean, I guess I can see how Nina would cross with Ivy or Mina with Julia but I never really thought of it like that. ^^;

No ones mentioned it, but what about Kilik (SCIV) and Jin? Both want to rid some sort of tragedy within them (for Jin, the Devil Gene and for Kilik, the malfestation) And both are fairly blunt haha.

It's like me saying Zasalamel and Obama are the same because they are both black. XD Based on clothing and background, I think its Lili and Amy. Both girls wear Lolita style dresses and boots, and live rich, secluded lives with a father.
