The AMAZING SC5 Online General Discussion Thread

Ok - I've given online mode a good chance to grow on me.

Netcode is fine, but all you bitches are so free, ranked and player my wins/losses are currently 110-0.
Somebody who actually knows what they're doing, please challenge me, I'm sick of trashing bad players.
 
I'm starting to believe it - literally nobody has even challenged me enough to whip out Alpha on - I've just been tearing up with NM and ZWEI - ZWEI for fuck's sake!

lawl, the same thing happened to me this morning. Was up 2 rounds to 1 with my Pat against some Asta on ranked. He had a tiny chunk of health left, whiffed and I punished with 236 AB. First hit connects, yes he has just a sliver of health left! Game, set and... disconnect. I couldn't even be pissed off or anything, the timing was too perfect.

you could come too on x360 i wil gladly show you that eu XBL is not that bad....unless you don t play ranked or coliseum tournaments.

I would expect that if someone find xbl eu easy, it should at least do well at cannes considering many players from wgc are often on xbl.

Oh well.....damn misfortune......its a luck people now can have a rematch online...

BTW I will play on psn in a month i think......see you there maybe....
 
I had such a lovely run-in with this "DayLeeOwn" guy on PSN that I just have to share. So it was late last night, I was just playing randoms in Global Colosseo when I ran into him and crushed him. Then maybe a half an hour later we meet again. Apparently he forgot about our previous meeting, because this time I got a perfect in the first round, he landed three hits to start off the second, and then the connection drops. He then decides to PM me "bitch" and accuse me of ragequitting, when he wasn't even leading in the match to begin with! Of course I message back something to the effect of "chill, the connection just lagged out."

To make a long story short, he keeps bitching so we schedule a rematch, just a 2 person room to settle this. Only problem is, I suck at revenge matches! Of course I was a nervous mess like I usually am, so his... playstyle threw me off(it was gimmicky, but my fault for falling for it the first time.) Of course, when I select "ready" for a rematch he runs out of the room. Then he does the whole taunting in PMs thing, so I let him know what I thought of him running out of the room, to which he responds:

After some more bragging I challenge him to an ft5. 5-1 for what it's worth, the one match he won went deep into the final round with his character having just a sliver of health left. Despite the whole tough guy routine he pulled with me, in our last match he had just a little chunk of health(maybe around 40-50 by the looks of it) and I grab him with Patroklos' 66B+G throw, start kneeing him in the face, he's effectively done. Then just before the final hit a message pops up "Your opponent has exited the match" -_- Seriously? Then he sends me this gem:

Gotta love the online experience, my first true hatemail(this week) :'D

People should have to take an IQ test before even allowed internet access. But trailer park's and ghetto's would lobby against it.

I realized that online is improving my trolling skills way more than my actual skills. I'm now just doing the same unsafe combos and seeing who can figure out how to counter against them.

Online play is so much fun.
