That's funny because you seem to be the one that doesn't know how the Big Bang works. Read about the standard model and what it means, it's not so complicated (unless you had a crappy physics/chemistry teacher).

Now, I've grown in a zone that is very diverse in terms of religion, and I can tell that -apart from obvious differences such as the yiddish and holidays- Jewish and Christian people are not different AT ALL. It's just the institutions that lead the religions that want everyone to get all proud and aggressive for no reason.

Well the big bang theory states that the universe was a dense and hot at the beginning after expending it cooled down thus creating the Universe we know today. Still the theory does make sense but I question where did that dense universe came from.

Also Jewish and Christians are totally different. We might be Abrahamic religions but Judaism revolves more around the covenant God made with Israel while Chrisitianity is about the new covenant made with Jesus Christ. Both religions are really different there's a reason why Jewish leaders got him killed... Still to this day they want nothing to do with him at least Muslims call him a prophet :D

Jewish and Christians instutitions are in good terms ;)

My last post was just one spoiler from a comedic God. I have to add a few more! George Carlin on:

The Ten Commandments!

I gave up on my species:

God and Politics:

George describes Rush Limbaugh:

They didn't though, it was the Roman Emperor. The evidence is everywhere, the bible, several prayers, even the Nicene Creed:

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

And I say it once again: I've met countless Jewish people, and they're no different from Christians in terms of morals and teachings. The whole first half of the bible can be found in Jewish writings, and neglecting it means neglecting the fact that Jesus and his followers were just radical Jews, so that means that JESUS BELIEVED IN ALL THE "JEWISH TALES" YOU NEGLECT. In fact, he never meant to create Christianity, he just came here to enlighten us.

I think you mean the amoeba came first. =)
They're actually fairly recent compared to most unicellular organisms :P

Long story short, I've suffered terribly due to the religion I was forced to practice.Now I'm agnostic and I'll remain one as long as Id like. But even if I decide to be a theist, I refuse to be in a religious institution anymore. And yes I edited my long post lol.

I had too much fun getting these together. Laughed my ass off! I forgot how hilarious blasphemy can be!

Ever thought Cortez may be just trollbaiting? Hmm? That level of hypocrisy is difficult to achieve accidentally.

what are you referring to? that we're not that different?

Yeah, the guy explains it as, because atheist's have morals and seek justice, he implies that if there were no religions we wouldn't know right from wrong. Then he compares a random boob sighting to having your GF cheat on you and says it shouldn't make a difference to an atheist when it obviously does.

He needs to take a few lessons in sociology.

Edit: Right and wrong is also a shite simpletons concept :3

I grew up as a Jehovah's Witness. I felt so alienated going to school because I wasn't allowed to befriend any "worldly people" aka non witnesses. I couldn't (and still can't) celebrate holidays. Up until 4rd grade I pushed away a lot of people who were nice to me, just because of my upbringing.

I got really sick in 5th grade and was hospitalized for a month because my stomach stopped working and I had a painful cyst. No one from my kingdom hall came to visit besides 2 of the "elders". And the only people that came had no empathy at all, I was told when paradise comes I'll be healed blah blah.

That's when I started looking at this religion differently. I felt no warmth from them at all. So finally i decided to open up, and meet people outside of my religion. (Ironicallly they most supportive people.) I thought, "if the only people I was allowed to be befriend, were hypocrites, nitpickers and judgmental people (some of my family included; sleeping around, gossiping, etc) I dont want to be apart of this." And that was it for me. .

So now, I think I'm just agnostic. My family doesn't completely know yet. (mom and brother does). But even now some of my family looks down on me for not being bathtized yet (I'm 17). I have no idea if I want to be part of a religion anymore. Guess I'll find out in the future. Sorry for the long post.

LOL well typical Jehovah Witnesses, just remember that a sect shouldn't destroy your faith in God.

;) my friend I got lost after the roman emperor part, I had no clue a roman emperor killed Jesus XD and also I have no clue where you come from but you have bad understanding of both religions... We can't be the same if we basically look at our God differently.
