The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

I still prefer the old trilogy but they did not disappoint us with another excellent movie! I really enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who loves Lord of the Rings.
 
I like the lord of the rings & even its games. I clearly didn't know there were books about it though. That's weird...
The Lord of the Rings books are the foundation for literally all of the Western fantasy tropes. Dwarves live underground and elves are strange, tall, nigh immortal beings because Tolkein said so.

Or something.
 
Yo, this is InsaneKhent posting from Hubbs' computer. I saw this movie over the weekend and liked it. I just found it hilarious that almost EVERYTIME they got into trouble, Gandalf conjured up whatever crazy random magic he could to bail them out. But the best was the 20 giant eagles that just fucked shit up at the end.
