Thanks so much, Tael! Yeah, my own interest continues to come in waves, with big peaks and big drops in enthusiasm. That said, I find that if I just carve out some time to begin some experiments that, even if I don't have any particular idea of where I am headed at the start, I often find myself chasing some interesting concepts. It also helps that I've switched entirely to the PC version for my creation efforts. Not only is the game so much better optimized for the PC (honestly, the console versions are truly shit, there's no other way to accurately put it), saving a lot of time in menu navigation, but it makes back-ups and forking variations from a common starting point much easier. And that's before you even factor in quality of life technical tweaks that you can only implement on PC. Even for designs that use only base assets, working from the PC speeds things up considerably, with far fewer arbitrary frustrations.I’m impressed that you still have gas in the tank for all these new ideas.
Everytime I’ve tried to go back to the game I’ve been feeling like I have already done everything I wanted to with what is possible, yet I continue to see cool stuff posted here!
