Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Alright I'll cave in and ask a noob question: If I'm gonna pick up UMvsC3, who would be good teammates to Felicia(my main)?

All I need is some good suggestions or so.

Yeah be careful with Nick Fury card. As primary you get a huge chunk of health back when you put them below 5% and it can loop for a loooooong time if you aren't hitting the proper intervals of damage. Choose your attacks carefully. You want a hard hitting attack that will not land them between 1-5%, which means you need to probably drop combos intentionally.

I need to experiment with meter gain and Strider Oreos

Thanks Juece! I'm really trying to get an S-ranked card, but I haven't had any luck. I played some random beginner and the player had 3 S-RANKED CARDS, I barely won but damn!

I had to kill Wesker 4 times because he kept being revived!

I beat all of Heroes in 1 sitting (not that i have no life, I just apparently hate sleep). I scored 2 S cards and I'm finding the best way to farm cards is simply unlocking the hidden areas and repeating them. Even though they're 100% you can keep playing them and will get A's quite frequently and occasionally an S. I tried cards that increase likelihood but I'm not sure they're needed. I got Megaman just by playing my normal team in the hidden zones.

I'm seeing potential for tons of unbeatable combinations unless you happen to carry a counter.

INFINTE X-FACTOR is dumb! I whupped a team using the card but I did not remember which card that was. (It was an S-Ranked Card)

Fin Fang Foom perhaps.

Primary: You can activate X-Factor an unlimited number of times at the cost of HC Gauge, however you will no longer be able to use Hyper Combos.
Secondary: Constant X-Factor, however you will no longer be able to use Hyper Combos. X-Factor will activate with 3 or more bars of HC Gauge stored, and deactivates with less than 3 bars.

IMO Fou Lou is better because Fin Fang Foom requires and uses 3 meters to activate x-factor.

Rank A
Primary: Increases the number of times X-Factor can be used. [Lv. 2]
Secondary: Increases the number of times X-Factor can be used. [Lv. 1]

Well i'd agree there if there werent dudes doing so well with non bs teams. Floe, LLND, Combofiend ... well in vanilla lol Combofiend.
Haha fair enough. That's just a testament to how godlike those guys are.
Hey can someone tell what bold canceling with Dante is? I am confused.
Bold cancelling is when you cancel "Bold Move" into other moves. Bold Move, as LostProvidence said, is Dante's command jump, and the notation is S+ATK. Basically what you would do is do Stinger (6H), press S+ATK, and then input the next move to cancel out of Bold Move. This has to be done fairly quickly as well. The two most common moves done out of a bold cancel are Dante's teleport (22S) and Volcano (623M).

You can cheat bold cancel inputs too with plinking. Rather than say do:
f+H, S+A, 623M
you can do:
f+H, 62S~3M

So you would do the dragon punch motion and hit S and immediately hit forward and M and it will count it as S+M and then a separate M 1 frame later

for teleport bold cancel:
f+H, S+A, dd+S
do:
f+H, d+S+A, d+S (do NOT hit A with second input or it won't register)

I'd say no, you can do a lot of assists to catch his OTG axe. With Frank I'd focus more on how to level him up with set ups and a back up plan if things go wrong and it's down to him lvl1 and your anchor.

Just went up against a Zero, Akuma and Taskmaster Team, there synergy is ridiculously good, i could not counter the guy online with my Ghost Rider, Wesker and Virgil team, not even my Dark Wesker and Dark Virgil could take'um.

I can take out Zero and Taskmaster, but his Akuma is stupid, how in the world does he take no damage during his supers when i make contact with him? it just ignores all attacks or what?
