Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Finally feels like home with Spidey and Tron in. Those characters just scream MVC to me. Now if only we could get Rogue and Venom in here...
Wesker is awesome also.
 
Ummm...have you played it yet? Game has new mechanics...it won't play the same, the speed may not be an issue.

also...your on an SC forum...our game is slow as hell.
 
MvC2 turbo 2 is WAAYYY too fuckin fast
i dnt understand y ppl would pick that option, its not even enjoyable
 
I hope they continue this trend of replacing the old cast with new characters. (ex., replace Venom with Carnage) Frankly, i couldn't care less if no more of the previous cast even make the cut because i don't want to see a repeat of MvC2.

They do need to start thinking about putting in more villians though. Right now, Capcom only has Wesker and while Marvel is doing slightly better with three, it's still not enough. Also need to start digging into the Street Fighter cast a little more although i do not want to see half the Capcom roster being from that game. As a given, Akuma needs to make the cut. I would also like to see Juri and Seth make an appearance. Juri is new, and pretty popular and while Seth may not be so much, like him or not he is new villian face of Street Fighter, and as such needs to make an appearance i think. Capcom still needs to explain the similarities between him, Urien and Gill anyway so i figure additional Seth coverage is required to shed light on this mystery.

Anyone still waiting for X? Even though at this point it seems somewhat unlikely he'll appear, i hope he'll make it and i also hope Sigma follows with him as well.

Why the fuck should Akuma be in? Why not just give Ryu some Akuma tools rather than having two shitty characters. Like his Evil Ryu teleport, and maybe give him Demon and Denjin. Juri, Seth, Urien/Gill, or Bison would all be way more interesting than another shoto.

I just saw that video myself and came here to talk about it.

Considering akuma, i dont disagree with you and dont particularly care if he comes back but im just being realistic. He probably is coming back due to popularity. Personally, i would like to see Seth, Juri, Bison, Viper and maybe Hakan make the list but that would be kind of a miracle. But then again, who knows because they might want the new characters to take priority and if that is indeed the case, then maybe most of those will make it. Who knows i guess, but those would make me happy.

That is sad to hear about X. Seems like Capcom should have realized how much fans would have liked to see him, but i guess it would be stupid if we could easily figure out everyone ahead of time.
 
Well I really don't expect Akuma. They said Punisher didn't get in because Chris would be too similar. If a undesigned character is too similar than a edited Ryu has like no chance.
 
Keep in mind this game WILL have DLC and that will likely mean future characters. We will not be getting X in the release, but I wouldn't doubt him appearing in DLC if megaman is not in the release (good chance Zero will make it tho).

They are also still tweaking the game...so the foot combo is probably gone, funny as it is. I'm just hopin we get a demo around decemeber-ish
 
Bam! Tons off shit to announce!

M.O.D.O.K. and Magneto confirmed for Marvel. Spencer (Bionic Commando) and Arthur confirmed for Capcom!

ALSO pictures of Jill Valentine, Gief, Dictator, and Megaman found on walls with the MvC3 logo nearby. It's very weak evidence that says they are gonna make it...but I cant see all of them making the cut.

Lastly alternate costumes confirmed with 4 pictures of Alternate Spidermans. Amazing, Symbiote (win for me!), some iron man-esque one, and the new one for the Big Time comic which is debatably the coolest. This will probably spiral in to the suspicions of Warmachine and Frank West being alternate costumes.

They're still balancing the game they say, but it's looking good. combos seem to have a LOT more variety than the standard normals>launcher>aerial rave>special/super finish. Lots of directional control, wall bouncing, OTG, and it all just looks beautiful.

Not particularly excited about Magneto coming back but he is too popular in the comics so it is what it is i guess.

Those posters of "possible leaked" characters also included Strider. I am not happy about ANY of them making it, exception being Dictator. Jill, Gief and Strider are definitely not good choices at all. I have to except Mega Man making it given that Tron Bonne was already announced but i'm just not interested in him, or the others.

I mean lets break down Gief a little bit and actually consider how many people are REALLY going to be interested in playing him. He is just not popular enough to warrant bringing him back. They just should have put in Hakan. He's new, and as such i think a lot of people who aren't even familiar with him at all will take some small interest and most Street Fighter players would have been a little surprised/delighted to see a new character get some attention. Instead, everybody is just gonna roll their eyes and be like "Oh, great...its Gief....hurray" :/
