Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

So it's official, Spidey, Deadpool, and Ryu my new Dream Team! After much testing I realized that VJ and Spidey on the same team just gets me killed to quickly. I did however, make a team specifically for Viewtiful Joe just because I love him so much. This guy.....can pull out some serious damage, only downside is that you gotta can't push and pull them well with resets and assists, it's either damage or no damage. But his zoning, omg it's so insane if done right, and Mach Speed goes through alot of different body hypers (I don't know the technical name for them) so if someone does theirs right after you do your's it still sometimes get through. It also goes through a decent portion of projectiles.

I learned some new spidey tactics too, he can be a master of mindgames with webswing,ball,zip, and his air dash. GOtta love it.
 
My team is all messed up now, I want to learn Wesker and mag so they can help my hulk out but I really like the synergy my team has going. Plus trying to play as wesker after only using slow as characters is messing with me, I'm not used to being able to move so damn fast.
 
Ok so I've found out that with hulk you can combo off his command throws and better yet unlike the guide say's I don't need wesker or deadpool to OTG. Apparently I can combo with rocket punch since it hits close to full screen! Though losing sent drones really makes it harder for hulk. I have to make better use of Dark hole now and thats going to sucks, oh and I can kara cancel hulks standing H and Standing M into command throw which will give me more mind game options.
 
anyone has any advice on how to defeat wolverine? he keeps crossing me up with assists and fucking berserker slash
 
you need GTFO tech or space control. I abuse carpet against Wolverine and force him to jump in. Haggar, Hsein ko, and Tron are good GTFO assists that can ruin his day.

Don't stay on the ground when you're being defensive and stay out of 'guessing range' of his dive kick (where it may or may not cross you up). Really, unless he's spamming dive-kicks or decents, try to space him out. Beserker Slash is also super unsafe (though it can be made safe with an assist).
 
It also depends on who your using, I mean if you have zero you should be on the offensive and making him guess at what your going to do. though yeah having a GTFO assist is always nice if your afraid of rushdown teams, you can also use your hyper on a dive kick wolverine to scare him.
 
Venting on my team again. Felicia as Pocky Neko xD. Magneto and Chun-li as her bodyguards. Now to improve my game on my team.....
 
Namu you should do what I do, I found 3 characters I really like to play with and kept messing around until I figured out how to get the synergy down. I have some weaknesses on my team but I know my characters pretty well and I enjoy using them. My team is set up so I can play all of them evenly. A lot of match ups are hard but there isnt much I can do about it.
 
ya I caved on Dante. He's great and a perfect choice for my team but he simply conflicts too much with my playstyle. I'm opting for Trish. Sometimes you gotta play the characters who work best for you :/
 
I'm one of the only Viewtiful Joe players I know. In fact, I know zero Joe players that I've actually met in person. Poor guy gets no love.

He's not very strong at all, but I love him and I'm sticking with him because he's my all time favorite Capcom character.

I don't mind using anyone(except Modok. Lame looking thing.) But, my team has to cover Pocky Neko(Felicia). Felicia is all about rush down and I want to perfect her kitten ways. I like using Chun-li because her kicks are sexy. Magneto was suggested by an offline friend of mine and he compliments my team for projectiles to keep them busy. But I also like how he is with the evil laughs.

Oh and nice lil combo of Zero.
