Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

If you wan't something that works for this team then you will probably want to use Rocket punch with Sent and Chain with Ghost. The chain will allow you to move in slowly and it comes out really fast, I wouldn't go with Spire mainly because it does way to many hits and make you have to shorten your Hulk combo's a lot. The range on spire as an OTG is meh when you compare it to Rocket Punch. Rocket punch adds more damage to hulks combos and it has amazing range and its very easy to extend throw combos with. You can also use Hulk's AA gamma charge for both Ghost and Sent to help keep them safe so the team can work well together.

You should NOT use gamma charge as your way to get in on people as it is very punishable and having to burn meter just to make it safe isn't worth it for hulk. If you want to get in on people then call in ghost to use Chain and dash-jump cancel into j.H. If they try and jump you can potentially air grab them and get a huge combo with Sent assist or you can force them hold their ground or super jump.

I mained Hulk in Vanilla and I still play with him in Ultimate so if you have questions I can help you out.
Umm...good stuff man. So you want me to give Nemmy the boot and replace him with Sent? I wouldn't mind that since I actually like Sent as a character and actually feel really bad for him in Umvc3. But when you compare that to Nemesis. You get a character that can bring back with or without lvl 3. x factor. He can control space by himself too. What do you think?

Sentinel is still an amazing character, reason why everyone hated him is because of his Sesame Street Easy mode combos into HSF.

Most people diss him now because they gotta do a simple flight-mode combo to net good damage (700k+). I say people just lazy and cheap...

I have made several comebacks with him on low life, no XFC, and no meter and I love it when people rage!!

For the team I say Sent adds more for you in assist and possibly DHC potential. The one thing I like about Nemesis though is his range and reset options. He is way to slow though and having him and Hulk on the same team is just asking to be zoned out.

Main thing I learned is that I still get tournament nerves and it sucks, I got nervous as hell and I was playing like crap and it cost me the entire tournament. I'm guessing that the more I go to WNF the more I will learn to get over it, just a matter of time. Also the amount of Vergil matches I will be getting is going to be insane as I saw like everyone using him.

About the hulk thing, You are absolutely correct. Most people try to play against hulk like they would any other character and I just armor through them and get massive damage. Though for people who run away I usually just bring in Dormammu and have my hulk as a GTFO assist.
Yeah, you get used to it. I'm not even nervous at tournaments anymore. I just play my game and chill. And I'm sure there were a lot of Vergils there. Doesn't surprise me at all.

If you had Dorm backed by Hulk, the most effective way I can see to beat to that team is really just to stay on top of them. Yeah, you've got the "Get off me!" assist (I guess), but that really doesn't profit you for too long, because a good rushdown character backed by a good rushdown-aiding assist is absolute hell for Dormammu. I can tell you this though: If you could keep someone at like...3/4 screen that whole match, you've definitely got it won. That's probably where Dorm is strongest, at least in my opinion. Fair warning though, I would probably just EX Seismo through all that nonsense.

Ahh...that makes a lot of sense. And I just tried out sent today. It took some time to get use to th new assists you suggested for me, but you were right. i need to learn how to use Sent though.

Lvl 3 'oreos' + xfactor lvl Strider...O_O Dat Derp Mode!

Derp derp derp derp derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp! Taste my oreos bitch! Here's a fucking eagle too!

Yeah Dorm is amazing with 3/4 of the screen distance and I usually teleport when I see people jump forward, it's a really lame way to play and I seem to be good at that style of play. Rush down does get me though and I'm considering using hulk's AA assist now since I don't need him for extending corner combos. I'm going to try and record my matches the next time I go to WNF so I can post and have you guys critique me, I still suck playing on stick though so I will be dropping inuputs.

I swear theres no escaping an Iron man + Ryu + Dorm team hyper combo, it's pure energy in your face and it does so much.

Super jump.

x-23 special, vipers special, virgil tele perhaps, dr strange special, dr strange tele maybe, and character that can fly.....

ps, ironman+ ryu +frankwest team hyper combo after a frank west bottoms up buff = guarenteed lvl 5 frank west.......

Keepaway is definitely what you want to do with Dorm, because at point black or 1/4 screen (which is where rushdown characters try to stay), then Dorm is pretty crap. Looking forward to your match videos.
Wow...so what do you guys think of Ryu?
Really solid in this game. Got some significant buffs (listed below) that fixed a bunch of holes.

- Can act immediately after a dash.
- Minimum damage scaling on normal attacks has been increased.
- Collarbone Breaker (6M, which is an overhead) can be canceled.
-Hado Kakusei (2,2+ATK+ATK/Denjin Mode).

I try to, it doesn't work out that way half the time.

You shouldn't be getting hit by that unless you're already being combo'd, if people are just randomly throwing that out and you're getting hit then something is really off.

Vergil with swords scares the shit out of me, I honestly don't know what to do against him. I know I need to hit him before he has a chance to get near me but his hit box gets so wide its ridiculous.

I've gotta remember that.

Also Wesker plus Vergil DXF Dance in Nightmare plus whatever Virils Rank1 super is called is so cheap. Teleport City.
