It's not that she was a better character, in fact her SC3 iteration had her at the lowest tier, it's that her overall playstyle was more fun me to use, especially her combos. In SC4, while she was "better" I felt that she had become less flexible and more simplistic, and eventually I found Vader and some other characters more fun and got bored with her.
It's kind of the same for me now when it comes to Mitsu. I've always played Mitsu casually as he was an amazingly fun character to use, especially SC2 and SC4. SCV was a huuuge step backwards in the fun factor, especially with the removal of Relic stance, which was one of the main things that made him stylish.
tl;dr Fun is subjective so I guess for me "stylishness" is what makes a character fun. SC4 Talim was a better character than SC3 but she had less style.

Aesthetics:
-No see through clothing. She's not Sophitia/ Elysium.
-Elegant clothing that suits her age. I would like to see some very long braids on her or just long hair up to her waist. If not make her hair look great with her original green tint.
-I'd like personality to be more closer to her SC2 version. Also I dont want Talim to be like a freaking 9 year old little girl.
-A bigger bust please and increase in weight/height. I hope her sweat puppies gained some weight.

I don't know.
She should appear right when Dampierre or Cervantes try doing something really evil, then stop them in their tracks doing Sailor Moon-style poses and saying something like "in the name of the wind, I shall punish you evildoer." Then she should forcefully become their traveling companion, giving them a swift backhand to the face every time they try to be evil. And because why not: Bangoo could be threre too, just around because he has a crush on her.

I'd be really disappointed if Talim... didn't age. The 17yrs timeskip would become even more useless. I'd like to see how she's matured over the years; spiritually, mentally, and physically. It'd be a breath of fresh air for the roster of teenagers everyone seems to be complaining about.
Storywise, I have this nagging feeling she's going to go plead with Dumas about his 'purge'. Trying to explain to him that the malfested are innocent and shouldn't be hunted. Woe and behold when she discovers he's a malfested . (Gasp lol). He'd either try to use her powers for his evil plans, or lock her up and try to manipulate her later on. It'd make for an interesting story. I also have a nagging feeling Zwei is that mysterious kid she supposedly cured at the watermill village.
For me, I liked her SCIV moveset the most. But that's just me personally lol. As long as they keep in her wind salut and wind leap moves then I'll be pretty happy. Mix-ups and transition moves! (>^-^)
