What is lacking

The thing is, to be good with Siegfried you must have strong fundamentals and have a good ability to read your opponent. Sieg is just one of the best characters that capitalizes on good reads.

Except the fact that you don't even know the full movesets of the roster. That says a lot.
Unless you can prove otherwise, you're completely free as far as I'm concerned. (And in the eyes of the whole community for that matter, lol.)

of course I don't know the full movesets, i'm not a geek (not insulting them btw), and why would that matter anyways? I don't know if you think I care the way this "community" and specially you see me. rofl get a life, I don't want to waste mine "prooving" something, i don't care at all, being truly honest lol

It doesn't really matter why anyone plays Soul Calibur as long as people are playing. The problem with Tournament players and especially those within this community is that they don't understand that casual players keep the franchise alive. I'm better than average on a competition level, but yet I usually find myself siding with casuals in these arguments because of the arrogance of Tourney players. Believe me when I say, Namco/Bandai doesn't give 2 shits about "hardcore" players because in the end, all they care about is their bottom line, MONEY!! If they were to rely purely on "hardcore" players supporting this franchise, it would have been cancelled completely. The only reason we got SCV was because of the newfound popularity of Fighting games again. Otherwise, we would be waiting to play Tekken 7. So lets ease up on people want more out of the game then an EFFING VS. MODE, Their dollars count too.

What's lacking...
  • Real Mitsurugi. Not half-assed braindead Mitsurugi.
  • Siegfried A+B moves in his stances.
  • Zasalamel.
  • Grown Talim. I mean seriously, use some common sense Namco.
  • Real Ivy.
  • REAL FUCKING IVY.
  • REAL MOTHER FUCKING MULTIPLE STATE IVY.
  • Rock.
That's about it. This game is awesome.

What SC5 lacks:
-The real standard arcade mode
-Time Attack
-Team Battle
-Survival
-SC3's Tournament Edition
-SC4's Tag Team Battle
-(optional)Exhibition Mode

I expect them to be improved versions for each iteration of the series.

lol I don't really know why would you be arrogant with people because you are a 'top player' on a game, it's basically ridiculous!!!!!! I play because I find videogames funny, i don't care about tournaments/being in the top lists. As Donsteel said, NAMCO cares about the money money money, they just need your money money money~*~*~ they will never ever tell you "oh you're on the top lists so we're going to give you a house and a dreamed life" oh well i said it bitchessss

and yea I agree, this game is lacking cassandra :sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1::sc4cas1:

When I see an arrogant person I always want to fight them, but no they'll all on Xbox. -__-

Anyway, Mitsu and Ivy are fun for me :D

Lol then why did you try to argue with me about Pyrrha's frames if you don't any anything about them.

Off-Topic: I saw this earlier, Siegy,....I try fighting with him...but I cant. I cant handle the swag~Lmao no he's just not my type of character. Alpha Patroklos....I practice with him...I wanna get really good so I can scare the living shit outta people when I do alot of justs :D Cus we all know some of his justs are from hell o_o...And Natsu is fun, but I find it takes alot of work to play with her, especially in combos. Also, Cassandra was also alot more complicated that Sophitia. With Cassandra, I think it took much more effort to play, with Sophitia...236B all the way xD Well she was alot simpler to use...simple and effective :O Regarding competitive players, well I give them kudos for learning the game and practicing they're stuff, but I dont appreciate arrogance and I love to kick arrogant people's hineys. C:

On-Topic:
-Stronger offline player modes.
-No more Legendary Souls. Useless and annoying and doesnt reward well. :(
-Museum! I found alot of pleasure in looking at the art, or reading stuff about them~
-A better tutorial for noobs. What I dont understand is, why do some people expect to win naturally? You have to work at it~

Well thats all--....

OH YEAH.
WE ALSO NEED SC6.

of course I don't know the full movesets,
You just invalidated your opinion.
Maybe I should go on the Tekken boards and pass judgement on a game I don't fully understand, because my uneducated opinion obviously matters. *Rolls eyes*
(Also, hardcore/tournament players are the ONLY reason this game exists in the fist place.)
kthnxbye.

What we need is the removal of story modes from fighting games alltogether.
Give it a vs mode, a practice mode, online and maybe an arcade mode. Everything else should focus on the engine.

I do miss the old days when the game's story was told through Arcade Mode instead of its own separate mode altogether.

You're missing a huge part of...everything. Casuals are what make games profitable, but hardcore players are what make fighting games thrive and live on past the point where all the casuals and scrubs leave it because it's no longer the cool thing or they can't handle Nightmare, or whatever. It's idiotic to just ignore either and write either group of players off as bad, unnecessary, or whatever. Both are very much necessary for a fighting game. Failure to attract casuls means failure to make a profit, failure to keep a sizable hardcore audience means it's probably an imbalanced pile of shit that won't have a sequel.

Don't take Syn's trolling seriously either.

Also: your hypocrisy. You're talking about how bad hardcore players are about egos with hate on casuals, yet you're prattling on about how hardcore players are so bad and unnecessary to fighting games and implying their inferiority compared to casual players. Very tacky sir, very tacky. If the hardcore audience wasn't important, sites like this would simply not exist; let alone thrive. Literally, your post existing proves that you're wrong.
