What makes SC memorable?

Basically, what others have said. I like how it manages to be quirky and humorous but also epic (something that most other FGs, or even games in general, fail at).

Soulcalibur is a simple game with a lot of depth to it as well. From the surface, it seems like a cool little fighting game with swords and people prancing around in tight clothing but when you take the time and delve into the mechanics and metagame, you get something truly unique and aboriginal from other fighters.

Also, I learned that some people who play Street Fighter are fucking elitist as hell.

-Character designs: Seriously, the costumes are really cool, and unlike most fighters, they actually change, which is nice. (though some look similar to past costumes, e.g. SC4 Cassy 1P compared to SC2 Cassy 2P.)

-Mechanics: Sure, it's simple, but simple games are often the most popular (Look at MvC compared to say, Virtua Fighter.)

-Music: The music can be both comedic (Midnight Mystique), epic (Endless Warfare), or just about anything, really.

-Style Diversity: OK, ignoring Rock/Asta, Cassy/Sophie, and the 3 mimics and 3 S&S in SC5, the characters are diverse both in motif and in style. Seriously, sure TTT2 may have 50+ characters, but half of them are similar in some way, in terms of gameplay.

Gameplay, Music, Designs. I love games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat but I have to admit that SC has always had a special place in my heart

CAS & Astaroth, Pretty much for any game particular it would be everything, but if I had to choose something to be the strongest it would be CAS & the stories, but SCV story sucks. lol
