What's Up With The Colored Names in GC?

Yeah okay so whenever play in GC I noticed that sometimes the color of my opponents name changes after I face them. Sometimes it turns red, but not all the time. Sometimes it turns green, and I've seen exactly one instance of a gold name.

What's up with that? Does red mean that they muted or reported me as offensive or something? Cause I'm usually not. Most of the time. As long as I win. And I'm in a good mood. But as long as those criteria are met I don't think of myself as much of a douchenozzle online. And sometimes their name even turns green. I don't know what's up with that, but it seems good. Green is a pretty chill color. And one dude was even gold. He was on my friends list, so maybe that had something to do with it. Either way I haven't been able to find any sort of guide or key for this sort of thing.
 
I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with who won the match. Red opponents beat you, green opponents lost to you. I've never seen gold, but being a friend makes sense.

I don't think red means opponents beat you because I have defeated many people last week and their name were red. The green I am not sure about though.
 
All opponents with which you had a complete match (no abort because of connection error or rage quit) are displayed Red, regardless of whether you won or lost.

If you are sure that you played someone but they are displayed White that means that they left and reentered GC mode.

Opponents with whom you had a private / whispered conversation are displayed Green.

Pretty sure about that.

Btw, seeing a player's name in Yellow is just a notice that they're on your friend's list
