When to use B4?

Has anyone found any practical use for B4? To my surprise, I can do iB4 pretty consistently. Still it's a very slow move and I get owned no matter how I try to use it. I try to put it out there when I get some space. Apparently, it doesn't track very well. At least that's what it looks like to me. I've also tried to use it on grounded opponents. I saw a guy using it in a tourney video pretty effectively. He was throwing it out there like it was any other attack in Siggy's arsenal and it was getting blocked and it looked pretty safe. So why am I getting my ass kicked so much for trying to use it???

WHAT IS B4 GOOD FOR?!!!

You ask then I/we have to answer to make better the community of Siegfried's users.

Note: First above all, your threat title says When to use 4A... but your question on your post says What is 4B good for.

I will try to explain both of them.

1.- 4A is a move that can track very good, punish some moves cause is i17, and above all it can stunt on CH leaving you the possibility to hold it to do SRSH and gamble the "shaking" opponent with this stance. Also this move its only -8 on guard so this move doesn't have any possible punish move on the game. The only weak point on this move is that is "duckable" so the opponents can punish with a WR move. If would be a really improvement to the Siegfried game if this move was mid.

2.- 4B is a head stomp move type, its i18 so this can interrupt BB. Its very useful when you are trying to force the opponent to be on stand so you can use the vacuum effect of Siegf's throws. Its very good to use this move as final weapon when the opponent have a short amount of health and you need a good medium poke to finish the round without been punished.

So, this was my short explanation about 4A_B, feel free to ask if you can't understand anything or you can try to improve your usage of any move.

Thanks for the reply stryker. I originally wanted to title the thread "When to use B4" but I accidentally put 4A. I tried to edit it, but the title wouldn't change. But the info for 4A is still useful none the less.

My guess? because you're using 4[A]~SRSH alot, After the opponent blocks 4[A] and you get into stance he can (interrupt) your next move easily with either BB/2A or similar moves.

Either that or you're being too predictable because it's easily dodged.

About the move itself it's good catching opponents sidestepping to Siegfried's right side in close range and it's safe, decent mix-up after CH, so yeah... i personally never use it but it has it's uses against fast and short range opponents.

EDIT: Zomg so confused!!!

Please excuse me, this thread is so CONFUSING! Lol

Okay, lets start over, i meant B6 in the above post.....

B6= Fast mid poke useful for interrupts, charging opponents, and round ender.

B4= Also has just variant, useful for tech trap and also tracks to sigs right. Crazy SG damage. I also like to use this move after SRH B.

Sorry, i was confused. Anyways, if ur doing B4 too much and gets predictable, watch out, they can GI it.

B:4 is a slow vertical mid with decent tracking, it does a good deal of Soul Guage Damage and gives advantage on grd... The best time to use this move as suggested is on wake-up to create a "forced block" situation... Just make sure you get the JF version, it has greater advantage on grd...
