Who all is considering/going to pick up Viola as a main in SC5?

She's my potential third if Amy isn't there, or is her I guess. Regardless, I plan on mastering her and Zwei just to make my skills increase with my other characters.

i am probably going to main her as i see no taki on the roster as of now.
also i love mages/wizard/sorceress since the d&d era! :P

I'm pretty excited to try her, but I don't know how good I will be...she looks rather frustrating to play, at least for me. But she may will be worth it.

Well its really hard to pick anyone at this point. I considered her but with new character designs in general, I see her getting balanced, balanced again, rebalanced because that wasn't fair, then balanced again.. but who knows. She definitely looks like a fun character to play as, and I sure do love annoying my opponents.

I probably will not main her, but try her out. She looks interesting but complicated.

I have my mains list already chosen and have
for awhile! anyone besides this shall be secondary!

Leixia
Viola
Zwei

hehehe so far, secondaries of the released cast are as follows...

maxi
ezio

and my deepest wishes to return!

talim (love ya fuzzy!)
kilik-style

...im done...

Edit to #1.

No, and why?

1) Too many people claim they are going to "pick her up". I don't like playing really popular characters.

2) Her phantom style just isn't my style as far as I see it.

3) Still waiting for Talim...

Ivy's always going to be my main, even if I have to relearn her all over again, but I'm really looking foward to Viola
She's going to be up there, I can just tell.

i bet viola's gonna be the new Tira. a WHOLE lot of people are gonna try and pick her up then realize that she's too much effort to learn and then put her down. and I don't care for NM's overpowered butt either. a auto-GI critical edge. and he's faster than he already was? are they trying to noobify him as much as possible or they just want as many people as possible no matter what skill level to pick him up? oh wait that's the same thing.

Right now Viola, Zwei and Ezio are neck and neck for my first tryouts. Viola and Zwei carry the exact weapons i and presumably many other people wanted in SC for a long time (Puppet master and crystal ball magician). So if Namco listened and actually put them in, i feel a strong desire to prioritize them for mains.

Ezio because well... He's badass. I always like characters that pull out a lot of weapons. Of course that means if Algol comes back, he'll definitely be picked up as well at some point. Him aside, i'll be dropping old mains for completely new characters. New meaning actually new, not copy/pasted old characters with new names and younger bodies. Looking forward to see if any other brand new characters make the roster.

The BE where Viola's orb spins around her three times, can be combo'd into, knocks down outside of combos, extends combos, and allows Viola to act independently while it's spinning is enough of a hilarious brokesauce looking move for me to at least give her a shot during week one.
