Worst Fighting Game Boss Ever

I had a conversation with some friends of mine the other day which inspired me to make this thread here. Basically my friend Anthony is always bitching about BB and their difficulty curb (he can't beat U. Haku-Men nor can he beat U. Hazama). My other friend Sara countered his argument in that Seth is easily the cheapest boss she has ever played. My boy Ridder disagreed with both and argued that Magaki was easily the cheapest boss ever for a fighting game. Finally, Stephanie argued that Parace L'Sia outcheats any other boss in fighting games.

So I ask you, what fighting game do you think provided to most rage inducing boss ever?

*My vote goes to Rugal Bernstein (KOF '94) as long as I have had this game I have never beaten him. In my opinion, he laid the groundwork for cheap ass bosses in fighting games lol.

Seth. Not hard to beat, but such a lame and unfun character- and then they made it worse by making him playable.

In terms of boss fight- Igniz.

My vote goes to this fucker right here:

Not only was he cheap and powerful enough to take half your life in one move, but he had five forms with a full life bar each and you had to beat them all to win one round. You had to win two rounds but if he beat you once you were dead and it was straight up game over. Add to that his earth form had moves that would dizzy you through a block. He may have been made artificially hard though. The inability to continue really limited how much exposure you got to his wholesale bullshit.

Otherwise, SNK bosses make the standard. They are fairly consistently cheap with easy bosses like Mukai the exception and not the rule. I refer to cheap bosses with the phrase "SNK boss syndrome". Every time this threat comes up, Rugal jumps to mind.

If you're going with bosses who are just overpowered as fuck, then Igniz for sure. That kid was programmed to use infinites and 100% combos at the drop of a hat. Nobody ever beats him legit; you have to cheese to ai.

Magaki or whatever that dude's name was from XI was lame as well, but not on the same level. I doubt even SNK would pull another Igniz.

Magaki from KOF XI is really cheap, even with 1/3 life option I still can't beat him.

Several SNK Boss is really hard to beat (For example Kouryu, Rugal, "The Loveable" Igniz, Geese, Amakusa, Johann, Mizuchi, Goodman, "The Koko Desu ka" Goenitz, and many more) but Grant from MOTW is the only SNK Boss I enjoy to fight.

Night Terror is very cheap as well. He has a projectile, ridiculous damage, and one thing that make him cheap was you can't RO him.

SNK takes the cake for this one. Their frames, damage and invincibility are just nasty.

Played all the KOF games and have to say Rugal is the freaking cheapest bastard I ever fought in a fighting game. Igniz really ain't that hard, neither is Maki. I dunno, my K' dash goes into Black Tortoises God mode when facing SNK bosses. Geese gave me a lot of trouble, too. The old KOF bosses are really ridiculous. Geonitz is really hard. Oh, and almost forgot Orochi. THAT mother fucker...

Yeah Rugal > Geese > Orochi... Yeah, pretty much.

Other series notable mentions: Seth from SF was pretty hard first time I ever faced him. Maybe just wasn't used to the the game. I still have some trouble with Gil from SF 3rd Strike. Specially because that guy heals if his meter is full. Dural from VF is hard just on the strength I find Virtua Fighter hard. Jinpachi was a cheap bastard cuz of his machine gun fire ball. Everyone here should know Night Terror is a cheap bastard. Unlimithe I-No and Unlimited Justice from Guilty Gear are pretty tough but FREAKING Dizzy...

Unlimited Dizzy is god fast, beast strong, launches 4 homing projectiles at once, recovers life when not being hit, and has a full screen unblock able. Needless to say you have to insta kill her. Least I do. I also believe she gets unlimited Burst attacks. :\

So yeah vote goes to 96 Rugal cuz I think that's Ultimate Rugal, then Unlimited Dizzy, then Geese.

Ivan Ooze from power rangers is the most notoriously OP character in all fighting game history. Guy only has 6 moves but they dominate zoning and get this...he can cancel hitstun at whim.

the 3rd and final version of the boss on ninja gaiden II on master ninja difficulty, has got to be the worst piece of shit. I still cant beat him

LOL....that shit is ridiculously to fuckin hard. I gave up on trying that shit long time ago. I swear I have to have prolly at LEAST a couple hundred attempts at beating him. Best I can get him is about half way. My old trick of "dash jump, dash jump, dash attack, jump dash jump attack, block....DIE" worked for the rest of the game even them fuckin dogs (i dont even wanna talk bout those fuckers again)...I LOVE ninja gaiden and the whole series, but come on....did they really have to make it that fuckin hard!!

ANOTHER ONE: The TANKS on L4D on expert....nuff said
