Xbox Live Thread

can anyone explain to me or point me to the thread that explains how the win bonus system works.

im a level 64. if i play someone that is a level 1, i get NO win bonus. i understand that, it makes sense.

but if i play someone that is level 80 and up (they have the red level marker) i get no win bonus for that either!!.........how come??

i was stompin fools last night that were double my level and got no win bonus!!

HELP ME!!

Head count, who's on that Left 4 Dead shit when it drops? I know Chuck is waiting for Christmas, anyone else? I'm only gameflying it, so I want to make sure people will play.

and so, another session of TF2 comes to a GGs conclusion. *closes storybook*

So there I was, just spawned on TF2 as a Demoman with THE TEAM on my team with some randoms, at this point we were basically waiting for others to join.

THE TEAM bailed out first and I was stranded with randoms...no mics, retards, children, and a loud mouth...I went out, the tactic was simple stop the other team from taking our point, sounds so simple and me being a demoman, even moreso. But this team had the most distasteful source, they played with me before. They knew my own personal tricks and my side had little team communication and coordnation.

I stopped their first wave. Which involved THE TEAM's heavy and a few randoms. Meanwhile the rest of my side were dropping like flies and eventually, I was nuked by a Krit rocket. However, to my surprize my team actually managed to take the pain in the ass soldier down by some miracle. But something was off, something was seriously wrong...the medic. WHERE WAS THE MEDIC!? He had actually managed to get away thanks to THE TEAM's heavy coming back and wrecking shit hog wild.

I come in to save the day, but the cluster fuck of my team plus the minigun slaughterfest from THE TEAM was too much. Suddenly, I was all smiles when one of our nublet spies actually got a backstab. As I celebrated with the rest, I glance toward the door...Its a low kicking soldier. The spy and the engee were blown up by some rockets, the medic flew like he just came off his lunch break, the soldier and I FACE TO FACE, he gets out a shovel, I laugh...then the Soldier got uber'd. I along with the rest of my team was shoveled to death and we lost the point.

Pretty bummed out by the loss, I roll out to defend point 2...I get backstabed as soon as I exit the door. I look as my team's names appear on the screen. I finally get out there, blowning up unaware spies and scouts, then that bastard medic, the fucking soldier, and the goddamn TEAM's heavy come around the bin. With 2 sentry guns and my carpet I was all smiles, then I noticed a spy cloaked on the carpet, I detonate then the medic uber'ed the soldier, the sentrys came crashing down. I, out of desperation throw down a sticky, I get a crit sticky and seperate them, thinking the uber was gone. The soldier now dead, the heavy in my face...he suddenly becomes uber'd, I am punched in the face for a KO. The other point was taken withen seconds after, my dominos wings then showed up and I enjoyed them

You forgot. He ubered me again at the very next round.
And I killed everyone with the shovel again.
There was a loudmouth?
 
I remember killing 6 people in a row with the shovel when being ubered by Gopher once. It was like 5 crit shovel hits back to back, and eventually when there were only 2 of them left they finally started running the fuck away.

But yeah long Rekano story short:

Got crushed by THE TEAM,
Again. And again.
 
Hmm, Gopher is thinking about going pro in TF2. With him as our anchor and strategist, I think we could do well.

However we need to see how many devoted members we can get on the team, and what is the official "pro" roster size? 5? 8? 12? 16?

We keep thinking about it, but it always falls apart. I don't think we lack talent, everyone has shown flashes of brilliance, we'd just need to be able to commit time and effort on a whole new level (me and albert did this in GW) and I assure you, it's quite grueling.

Will it be worth it? If everyone can say yes, lez do this shit. Maybe recruit some other good players like Jay Shadow or other community members from SC?

wareeaglesdare and hajimeowari gave me quite a work over last night (dont take that the wrong way!!) they both are a couple of awesome yoshi players. if you see em online try to get a game in. i learned quite a bit from both of them!
