Lol this if the finals for a local tournament here.
I know this guy and we play often so i do some dumb stuff, and i also fish for a lot i know he wont stop for a bit but here we are.

vs lolo
In the third round of the first game Yoshi goes over your head you used 4B as your punisher this is a good spot for 3BKK. In the second game round 2 Yoshi whiffs a low attack forget the notation happens near 8:05:20-8:05:30 you used 4B this is another spot that 3BKK would be good.

vs thuggish

1st game round 2 between 8:12:50-8:13:00 Thuggish whiffed 66BB, a 3BKK would have won that round. Same whiff again at the third round of game 3 at 8:18:15-8:15:20, wouldn't neccessarily have won the round but would put you at a significant life advantage. A general tip vs Leixia when she uses 3AA you can aGI the second A with B+K then use the B option to follow up with 6BK 2A+B. I guess sometimes they will only do the first A but it's not a bad idea to go for. Also there are some strings leixia has that allow you a free aGI CE but I'm trying to figure out which are worth while.

Also when you land 6BK are you using 1_3 A+B as a tech trap? If they aren't reacting to it definitely take the max damage 2 A+B combo. wsB you should use 6B as a follow up, pretty sure it's guranteed, actually does more damage then wsKKK without the BE.

I'm kind of nit picking here and I'm sure I'd of screwed up a whiff punish if you put me up against any players that were in the top 16, just like to pass on any info that might be helpful.
 
wing_zero: Haven't watched the archive yet but here's what I remember wanting to yell at you when I was watching you LIVE.

CH 6B,K 1_3A+B only catches tech when you get the LATE Channeling Kick. (With the little relaunch, like CH 6A,K). If you get the stun there's NO way they can tech into it even if they slam their head on their stick/pad.
CH 6B,K 1B provides you both optimal damage and good spacing, also not affected by Guts.

Kuroshi told me you choose to 3kB to whiff punish over 3BKK due to the consistency. Yet I did not see your Xiba go "DON" a single time. You also missed a lot of whiff punishes multiple times that 3kB would have given you an essential knockdown.

Your wall comboes dude. Everytime you land a CH 6B or 6A judge your distance to the wall. 6B+K is the riskiest wall scoop you can go for! Also remember you can 3BKK or 3aB for RO after breaking a wall.

Lastly, hire someone to play Natsu against you until you learn to block those bombs. Hawkeye clearly didn't know Xiba, clearly gave you waaaaay too many CH 6B,Ks.. if you avoided at least ONE of those many many many Ninja bombs you ate, you would be in the Grand Finals.

Also, nice to see you on the stream. You need to smile, you're adorable.

P.S. : Also, I still don't know where I should be using WS A. So I was hoping you'd show me, but you didn't. SadOu
 
@ ShenOu - I like doing wsA on someone's wakeup. I also like using it I think someone is trying to step in between strings.

What's the best wall scoop? I was taught that 6B+K is the most damaging....

I also kinda got scared in the tournament, so I didn't do my normal stuff. But I really do need to step my whiff punishing up. I normally default to 4B for whiff punishing.
 
It's really dependant on the range you scoop them at, the further away you are the better 6B+K is. Otherwise. 3aB.

The most consistent option is just to 3BKK.

@Wing_Zero, though i lost to you when i watched you on Sunday man i was yelling things at you. You need to just pay more attention to where you're at on the stage for your combos man. You got walls and got nothing from it, did moves sooner than you should have, like 6B+K, while if you just held off a second you could've ended it differently for better options. A bunch of tiny things that could equal big mistakes by the end of the match man.
Also when you hit 6A-K BE and you do 6K after it, you can actually run in a little and then do it for more damage and better Oki.

That being said how many Xiba's made Top 16? 3 or 4? I found that surprising myself.
Not to mention 30000000000000 Leixia's in Top 16, ya that's right all those 0's can fit in Top 16
 
I appreciate all the comments. The wall scoop stuff is kinda weird. I'm also cringing at the fact that I missed so many whiff punishes...I'm working on it now though.

Got 2 questions for ya'll - is there a way to do RCC 3BKK? I want to punish throws really hard but I'm having a hard time getting this to come out consistently...

Are there any tech traps off an early channeling kick?
 
I haven't found any the last I lab-ed. The thing about it is early channeling kick is a stun.. so you can't really techtrap out of it.
 
You can start using TAUNT as a tech crouch when you think they'll grab and then go straight into 3BKK because you're not actually ducking. I've done it a few times.

Does this really work? I was trying to mess with it, couldn't get it to work. When I taunt they can still grab. Even if I make the computer grab when he's at his lowest point they can still grab. It seems like it should work based on the animation but it's just not happening.

It does, i mean i do it lol. It doesn't work at the beginning of the animation of course so you can't do it on reaction, it's done on reads. But it can even duck Ivy and Asty's CE. It's HARD but ya.

I didn't realize his taunt was a TC. This sounds like it can really mess with someones head if you pull it off.

If you ever do it in a match video post it up I'd be really curious to see it. For some reason I can't seem to pull it off in training mode.

You might already know this but if you are on PSN you can save your replays to your hard drive and use a storage device (if you have one) to transfer it to your computer.
