They Cant really replace hilde just yet because shes like Sc's look at this character she has no skin showing.

Pretty much how my roster would go. Taki and Natsu would have the same weapon but different fighting styles like Mitsu and Yoshi. I'd bring back Hwang instead of Yun Seong since I never liked him and I don't think anyone else does either. I thought Li Long's double nunchuck style from SCIII AE was sick and makes him different enough from Maxi that I wouldn't mind having two nunchaku characters so I put them both in. I was gonna add Kilik but I figure he's been in every game since the first one so far so he can take a break and Seung Mina can make a comeback since she was left out of V. Edgemaster would be the random character or I might make a brand new one instead. Charade would come back with a unique fighting style, maybe a new version of the Wave Sword style from SCIII. Inferno would be the playable boss while Night Terror would be unplayable and one of them would be the hidden boss in story mode.

So there ya go. Anyone like that roster? What would you change?
 
ZWEI is not good enough and Viola is too good. Balance them or take them out.

As far as making a new character, here are some things I'd like to see.

- Big ball on a chain.
- A whip. Not a sword whip. A real whip.
- Fist weapons. More focused on Kung fu rather than shooting lasers from your eyes or...Voldo...

No problem. I'll expand the roster choice to 30, so it could be at least fair. Also, you left a vacant spot open at 11. Just so you know.
 
Well, based on the popularity poll, the choice is clear. We can bring back the popular characters, as voted by the poll, and remove the most hated characters in the series (ie Patroklos). I imagine some of the new characters are going to stay, or at least one. Pyrrha is probably going to be in the game on the account of being an Alexandra girl (who Hoshino seems to be trying to promote). Z.W.E.I. and Viola could stay too, but I'm not quite as sure if they will like I am with Pyrrha. It should probably go something like this.

  4. Hwang (despite being absent from the series since the original SC, he's been missed and made the Top 25. Still far from a safe bet)
  5. Elysium (could reappear as the villain, but would need a unique style because we don't need more than one mimic)

Likely to not be in the next game:

  1. Patroklos (one of the lowest placing newcomers and possibly the most hated character in the series, even Namco made fun of him)
  2. Leixia (lowest placing newcomer, seen as a more annoying version of Xianghua)
  3. Natsu (replaced by Taki in Lost Swords, and while she does appear in PXZ2, Project Soul wasn't involved)
  4. Xiba (doesn't appear in Lost Swords and placed way below Kilik on the poll, and I doubt people were voting for the mimic version of Kilik)
  5. Li Long (absent since SE and effectively replaced by Maxi, who has proven to be much more popular)
  6. Abyss
  7. Charade
  8. Olcadan

Honestly, I think this looks pretty good. 28 returning characters that are likely locked in, while several others might make it. We can cut the hated characters, and in their place have brand new styles and of course, guests.

How can Project Soul balance Xianghua to avoid her having 10-0 matchups? I'm saying this because I found stuff that would make X instaban, but it's fine with Leixia.
