Again read the comment. Its directed to him as a player and his play level.

I have met him in person, he was at my house, I played him at least 100 matches. I know the guy.

Kissing his ass would imply that I do not know him. Unfortunately I do so I guess those who look into comments like that on an extremely level won't see anything past the superficial.

Therefore ur comment is stupid and most importantly unnecessary as the comment was made to him and not u.

So if I were to turn this into a flame was theoretically your kissing my ass. Just stop and think about it but since I know thats not the case and i'm grown I can think past stupid shit like that.

Yeah, the booing was a bad look.

Admittedly, RTD and Cedric had to play through that.

(I think everybody jumped on Thugish with the last-minute pocket Hilde, though.)
 
People were going to boo the Hilde matches anyway. A HUGE amount of people are not feeling ring outs and the fact that Hilde can do it off of one opponent mistake just adds to that resent.

Still, ya gotta support community members especially on a stage with as much exposure as Evo
 
The finals matches were all spectacular, I loved every minute of it. I kept stream chat turned off for the majority of it however, it was filled with (almost) nothing but ignorance and hate towards SC4 and Hilde today.

And booing every time Hilde moved an arm? Fuck guys, good job at encouraging new players to pick up the game.

I simply care about the spirit of competition and the payout. Again I have no bias which is why my predictions was probably spot on in the first place.

ROs are frustrating for anybody to watch. Just not Hilde. What about a player owning an Asta and he gets that Bullrush? Or in VF, there are ROs also. People should have been CHEERING the entire time, making it like SCIV is THE game to play. It is what it is, but the community will be surprised next year when Evo passes over SCIV and this time, it's NOT the players on the stage's fault, it's the idiots booing.

SU: You should always care about USA vs the world when there is a major tournament going on. If you are not from USA, then root for your country. This is common sense. That's like being a Boston Red Sox fan, but recognizing the Yankees are better, and because they are better, you root for them. Makes zero sense and It's pretty bad I have to explain this to you. I'm not "dick riding you", trust me. I don't think anybody has ever dick rided you actually? The only person that thinks you are important is you. Just commenting on a post where you were kissing ass, simple as that. We get it, you and him are BFFs, seeing as how his exact quotes are in your sig, which is equally bad.
 
Finals were wonderful. Lots of fun to watch. KDZ makes me want to play Cassie again.

I don't see the problem with the booing. Who cares? It's all in fun. And besides, the Hilde matches were all Americans anyway, so how could it be anti-USA?

Hope for the future! Nats is going to be even better, if more Canadians can make it.
 
Dude, everyone wanted hilde to burn. We cheered our asses off on everything else. SC IV finals were REALLY energetic, I think they're bringing it back. The Hilde booing, just fueled the cheers when she got her ass beat. I was going to not boo hilde simply to not harm SC at Evo...but you had to be there, it was awesome.

The booing didn't hurt the game, in fact it helped in a weird way.

If people had cheered that bullshit, that would've probably harmed the game.

I hope that won't be the case. SCIV had a good showing. At least folks acknowledge what we already know about Hilde doom combo. One thing that I hope folks took from KDZ and Malek vs Hilde (for those who were there and for those who watched on stream) is that there is a way to beat Hilde. However, RTD and Ced will go back to the lab and improve.

One that did cross my mind: If Namco would have gave Hilde a charging low attack, she would then be scary. Be glad Namco didn't let that happen.
 
I don't understand this community at all. So some of you are saying that its better to hide UNBALANCED stuff like hilde's ROs? The booing were the proper way to deal with it as to tell Namco to fix the problem or ban hilde from future events. Personally i don't care if the guy was from usa or not i just care for the balance and fair play of a game. Kinda sad that evo staff did allow hilde players in the first place.

Did anyone missed malek interview with the commentators? he clearly said that he was LUCKY that he took that hilde down. In my book beating somebody out of luck is not what i call a balance game at all.
 
Malek was a beast with landing those 22K's (or was it A+K?!?) on Hilde. Also a smart stage choice where he could ring her out and she couldn't. But, had they played all open levels, the doom combo did connect a few times and it might have been different, but overall Malek deserved it. Just shows how adaptive he is. His anti-hilde is completely different than his normal style.

If you want the game at Evo next year, you don't boo the players. Especially when it's your own country playing against another. You honestly think Namco was there w/their notepads wondering what we think? Here's what the evo staff looks at:

Cheering = Crowd is happy, they want to see this again
Booing = Crowd not happy, or bored, or looking forward to next game. Note to self: Don't show this again next year if something better comes along

This isn't a hard concept to fathom....is it?

And Malek was being a classy gamer by saying he got "lucky". He won, that's it. He was just trying to be nice and show respect to the other placers. You don't go undefeated and get "lucky"
 
Dude with 5 Posts. Life is about luck, but you need a little skill to have a little luck. ITs VEGAS!!

Malek deserved it. He played solid, while knowing when to turn it up. US players aren't ready for that, for the most part. KDZ has that ability, so does Krayzie and Omega. When I saw omega do not so well to Voldo (and not even hardcore Voldo) I was worried about his next match. The stages just sucked ass, but he shoulda played mitsu.

And from the Live Stream, the BOOing was clearly understood to be intended towards the hate towards the DOOM combo. It actually fuelled the energy of the SCIV stream. Cha cha did pretty good with the Commentating, although the other guys needed a walkthru every second.

"Sheild Slash!!"

I really wish I was there. BUt $$$ for A+ reigns supreme. I have a good feeling SCIV will be there next year.

Thats what he said.. he got lucky because of that stage.

All i'm saying is that it would be a different story if they didnt allow hilde players to use that cheap combo. If i were a hilde player i would be ashamed of myself.
