oh yeah? tell them to build a duff's in my hood so I don't got to drive all the way out to UB north
to get some good wings. I gotta coupon in the email for some cheaper wings on there non-wing night
so I took advantage
 
Jeff- if you want to make and maintain a Buffalo thread on SRK, go for it. But this forum is adequate for all our needs, and I still watch SRK like a hawk for new players (if you've noticed), I periodically search players by location to see if there is anyone we missed.

However, the reason I didn't make one there is that their forums are garbagey, ugly and with few features to non-premium, most people there are uninteresting and our threads would get 2nd paged in a day.

Oh... and I just don't like SRK :)
 
Might come tonight anyways, my grasp on the material is good enough that I read through my books and realized I knew it all anyways.

This is all I really need to know. I agree that SRK has a lot of problems, but it's also the first place any upcoming Street Fighter is gonna go to find out if there is a Buffalo scene. I actually missed the Buffalo thread when I looked on SRK (oops), so that's really why I posted. What I was suggesting was not for us to all post at SRK, but to have a thread at SRK - and we do! So problem solved.


Was that a Captain Planet Reference btw?

That's a good question actually, because I haven't found anything great here either lol. The place across from me has decent enough wings, but nothing even approaching Duff's. Then again, I'm not sure how many places in the city have wings that are near that quality. At some point we'll have to get out to BSG and try it for ourselves, where is that again? If anything it's probably a nicer place to eat than Duff's lol.

On a side note, downtown I've tried wings from two separate places while at work, ordered them hot, and they weren't even CLOSE to being hot. In Buffalo? Really? And one of them made me sick, lol.
 
Everyone knows in most restaurants there's only three types of hot sauce. Mild, Mild, and Extra Mild. As I've found out since I'm in the restaurant business now(bar&grillz yo), it's for insurance reasons >.>

Like McDonalds, people order extra hot wings, then sue "OMG THEY'RE HOT" when they damage their gums or something.

I'm not picky when it comes to wings, especially since I'm not a fan of wings that are [Iactually[/I] hot, or spicy
foods for that matter. As long as they are not small as hell and are edible I'm happy with em lol
if you think BWW's is small..... I had smaller....

BSG's got some big ass wings I must say lol

Very exciting news if this turns out to be the truth.

I'm going to try and make it tonight; I've gotta fire a couple of ceramic vases' I've completed for 2 patrons, which could potentially take longer than I had anticipated. Can't get to the kiln until 8, so depending on when I'm done I may or may not be there. WILL DEFINITELY be there Saturday for ranbats, and to test out my work with Chun this past week.

Lol; I love Guy and can't wait to see some really good action from him. Again, a few people on GAF are hinting that these rumors are true, and official word from Capcom is incoming. Lots of new things added; all 3S characters will have all three super-arts, 1 as a Super, and the other 2 as Ultra. Makoto is supposedly making the cut too? I'm interested to see what these new characters are all about. The "Arab grappler" is most likely not Arab, but Turkish and is using this fighting style:

But for now I'm taking this with a grain of salt, but really hope all these bits are true.

the only thing i dont like its saying its not playing like sf4.. thats not good news.. personally i think the character roster is big as it is.. i dont think we need that many more.
