I want to kill King Doran so bad, I never knew he actually gave you a chance to get the sword, dude out right attacked me.
I also want to kill Mestopheles, just because...So if I kill Doran will that give me a pure black tendency?
And where do you guys find the ring of avarice?

King Doran is strong as fuck just be carefull also if you kill him the world gets pushed to a darker tendency. I say kill Mestopheles near the end of your game that way you can assainate the people on her list get the stuff she gives you then fight her and get all her stuff.
 
King Ace, that ring is said to be found in 3-1, the former royals wife sells it for like 50k souls or something. Or you can try to find it on a corpse in 3-2. It is said one can be found there as well.

I just got a +5 DragonSword, but it's like my main weapon, and it's got me this far...really easily. Fire burns. and I have a +4 Quality Hashiwhatever that katana is called. Anyway I still want to do a ton of stuff before I beat the final boss.

So in your own words for you who have beaten the game. What is the actual story to demon's souls based off the events and tales in the game?
 
The games story is basically what it says, The king summons demons, gets driven mad with power as do the other arch demons. Not really complex but then again it doesn't have to be.

Has anyone tried making a new game and fighting the vanguard in the begining of the game? I try ever so often and I can kill him. I heard you get a reward for killing it

KingAce, whenever you get around level 150 (+/- 25 levels), let me know... I would love to borrow your +5 Dragon Sword. I have a +5 Sticky & Moon you can borrow. Also, if you managed to get a Pure Darkmoonstone, I can make a +5 Crescent Sword.
 
I have almost all the unique weapons now shit is sweet made my doozer ax and I dont even know if I should use it, 23 pounds is just insane even the kneel crusher only weights 20 and it has a larger hit window.

Is there any point to me raising up my magic? I'm about to finish my +new game and notice that magic doesn't do much against enemies anymore should I just forget about faith and magic and intelligence and work only on luck dex vit and strenght?
 
Okay... here is a list of requirements for weaponsmithing... willing to trade! I am level 150, I figure if I can find another player and we COMBINE our ore supplies, we can make the weapons required! You don't have to make the weapons for the trophies, just have them, so once they are completed, just trade them to other players.

Hey, Jaxel. I have a +5 Blessed Mace. Working on getting a +5 Sticky Compound Longbow. I'm at +3 now. Spiderstones are kinda rare apparently. Anywho, I can help you out with your trophy list.

It is weird though. I learned all of the miracles available from both trainers, but it hasn't given me the trophy. Both trainers say they have no spells for me to learn, so I dunno what's going on.

Did you learn everything from Yuria? Did you give her the maiden in blacks demon soul?

Also you need 3 colorless demons souls and have to kill a primeval demon then Urbain will teach you one more faith spell.

Well I am all about fire, you can buy shards of dragon stones from that dude in the worm and bug place. And you could probably get a chunk of dragon stone from killing one of those bigger buggers in the tunnels.


Dude have you guys played the game in a pure black world tendency that shit is weird and hard, for the first time I actually saw a colorless demon, and there the random phantoms that show-up.
 
Black tendency is only worth it one some stages IMO. Whats a colorless demon look like? I've always wondered. The only colorless demon soul I have came by assassinating
 
It's in that art book that comes with the game.
Those two phantoms I am talking about, Imagine walking into a hallway, and halfway through a really strong fat minister spawns in front of you, you try to turn back only to notice another one spawned behind you blocking the exist. And that's the only way to trigger their spawn. Kill you in one flame shot too.
 
Haha KingAce... you're supposed to open the gate BEFORE you turn the zone Pure Black. Otherwise its pretty impossible to escape those fat ministers... you need to be REALLY god-like at rolling to avoid those flames shots. Its always better to farm in Pure Black though... you get more XP per kill, as well as drop rates being increased.

I've been trying to farm the Giant Bug Bears for a single Chunk of Dragonstone... but so far no luck. I've got 50 shards now, and no chunk. It sucks too, because there arent enough Giant Bug Bears in the zone, and they take forever to kill... even in super-hyper-mode. Thats with health less than 30%, ring of magical sharpness, morion blade and clever rats ring... this build brings my magical attack power up to 300%... if I had an Insanity Catalyst, I could bring it to 400%.
 
Jaxel you need luck too dont your? Also I hear the sword of searching increases drop rate and you just need to have it out so you can still use the morian blade with two hands.

Wow you went all the way into the lava area and still couldn't get one...that's tough man.
