Evo 2010

I love you guys and all but since Summer/Fall '09 I completely fell off SC and hopped back onto melty blood.

I wish I still loved SC more than MB but thats changed.

voted for sc4, but malice was right...you guys should be more hype about gamme. our very own idlemind is involved with it and has put a lot into sc4 being there. don't let it go unnoticed.

Everyone needs to do more than just vote I hate to say. Hit other forums...like *shudder* gamefaqs. Get people who aren't even gonna make evo just rally support for it. I'm gonna be spammin like a bitch even on psn asking for help.

Worse case scenario lets host our own tournament.

I hope you guys don't kill me for this, but I voted for MB. The scene really deserves it more. And pretty much the only hope for SC4 being in was EVO staff recognising us and giving us another shake. SRK as a whole HAAAATES SC4.

I'm actually shocked that Melty is an option at all considering it is an import game. But when I saw it as an option I knew who I had to vote for.

You can't just register and vote. You need to have been a member before some date I don't know. Lol.

MB ftw. If MB gets in I think there's a good chance you'll see one of our players make it over. :)

Aside:
Assuming Arcana Heart 3 gets a good port I REALLY want to see this happen again with it on the list. Capcom fanboys are splitting their heads that Melty could possibly have a chance to take their game off. Imagine what would happen with a game that really was all they're claiming MB is. Lol.

So....if you don't have a SRK account before today...then we are shit out of luck on votes.
 
Oh yeah, I'm sorry to say but it's a wrap. MVC2, Third Strike, and CVS2 are still the favorites for this. It will be one of those games picked to be the last game for sure. I'm still down to go though if I hear of enough SC4 peeps going, just to chill in vegas and still get games on, just not in a tourney.

I was going to test, but I'm sure they put a control in to keep those from voting if their account was created and registered after the poll was created. Oh well.

I'm sure Melty Blood will end up getting picked since the weeboos are coming out of the woodworks to vote for it. But at least I voted for SC4. I can't talk shit without showing some support.

Even if Calibur is not there, we should use EVO as an opportunity to get this community together from all regions, hang the fuck out, have a good time, make fun of some weeboos, heckle some butterfaces at the Femme Fatale tourney, and whatever else we can think of. As long as I am not screwed up financially, I will be there.
 
I'm still down to enter the SC4 side tourney. :)
Shame it wont be a main event...but maybe next year it'll get another chance!
 
I think a side tourney in Vegas would be alot of fun, especially if we could acquire a penthouse or a bunch of rooms in close vicinity.

Once the final game has been made official, we can go from there and start planning/RSVPin.
 
Sounds like a plan to me. We all know folks right? If SC4 isn't picked as the final game (more like, WHEN it isn't picked for the final game) then we can plan to make our own tourney there maybe.
 
Still push for votes, Keep in mind even though some games may seem more popular, they may spread themselves to thin if the votes polarize. you only get 1 vote after all.

If anything it adds to the notion people still want to play SC
