I'm willing to fade almost any bet on SU winning the whole tournament.

Thugish, you should step up and issue the same challenge. You're not gonna win either, but it'd make things more interesting. Mick?

edit: I was just thinking, cause I was only gonna bet against SU, BUT if I challenge Thugish to lose the tourney also, the worst case scenario is I break even, so it's zero risk. So, I challenge Thugish for $50 if he loses/wins the tourney. If Thugish declines, then anyone else who's willing to bet on his behalf, speak up. Actually why don't we make it a cool $100 against Thugish (maybe including sidebets) if I can get a $50 sidebet from someone who's betting on SU to win. It's called hedging. Putting my degree to good use hehe

I bet both Ramon and Woahhzz $20 that you won't get top 5 at the tourney. Yall accept?
 
First of all swordlord you have a bad rep for following through on your bets so i doubt anyone would take you up on it. I think SU did cuz he's getting desperate. ALL the old school players know Mick will make him look silly.
Anyway I will be in Atlanta on Thursday so I'll give my $50 to RTD to bring to fsak. And the original terms of the bet was ft5 for $50 between SU and Mick and then I added my $50 on top which SU matched. But I might be willing to make it a cool $100 on my end but I will have to let you know by next week.
 
In all likelihood it should at least be a close match. To say Mick is going to make S-U look flat out silly is ridiculous considering I saw S-U beat Thugish in a grand finals fair and square, to take first. Therefore it shouldn't be a lop-sided match. Don't let bias blind you!

Actually, carry on. More hype > reason.
 
Saying that Mick is going to make SU look silly is just stupid. I mean to be completely honest I don't even believe that Mick is gonna win much less make SU look silly. Mick has been out waaaay too long.

Sword- Work on making your track record in MM look better and then maybe people will play you. I really don't think that you're as bad as you make yourself out to be. Try getting lower value matches so that people might believe you will pay.

I take back what I said about anything.

Mick's history includes taking a theoretical mid tier character (SC2 Cass) and being top of the community with her. That makes him automatically better, whereas S-U cheats by using broken ass Kilik and Ivy. Contest over. Okay, please give me money for pointing this out.
 
Mick hasn't proven himself in well over 3 years. I mean yeah he was great in SC2, but that was a long time ago. In SC3 he was good in the beginning since he was still able to use his skill from SC2 to get him by when knowledge of the game wasn't widely available. Now he decides that he's automatically the greatest at SC4 for some reason and other people believe him?

see, that's not even what happened, yall have it all wrong, he got $100, I only wanted to play for $40 if I had to character lock Sophie, cause I had already lost to Hates in the tourney using Sophie. If you wanted the matches, obviously she wasn't locked, so we played for $100.
 
SL I don't wanna start this up again but this all came about because you stated on the forums, before this tourney, that you could beat ANY cervantes with Sophie because you claimed it was an easy matchup. You claimed it was so easy that you would put $1000 vs any cervantes player. You only changed your mind once Hates beat you in that very matchup in the tourney, but that's now how it works. You don't get to just change your mind after talking all that shit on the forums.
