Why is chaos and vincent fighting? and why the hell do you say Hilde and Algol haven't won a single tourny when they've been baned? lol chaos you beat vincent? vincent, chaos refused to accept another challenge? is that it?
Why did it need a separate thread anyway, scrub carries over onto any fighter, it's just a generic insult to a bad player, why we need an in-depth analysis is quite beyond me:

I beat Vince offline 16-3 with no bubble shield. He never wants to play me again and got hes friend to ban algol from local gatherings. lol thats more or less how it went down.

Chaos: Now you're just lying. I didn't ask Eli to do anything. He made his own decision because he agreed Devastation is more important than you. Do you really wanna have this same argument for months on end? Why not just settle the score than post misleading words?

Who the hell started a ban debate? And anyone who can't see a difference in in someone stating Hilde is OP and another saying Ivy is OP is just trolling.
Still a lot of people in this thread fit my definition of scrub simply by mentality. A scrub doesn't really progress as a player, they hit a plateau due to ignorance and reach a limit to what their natural talent will bring them. I know I've surpassed a fuck ton of people since my scrubby ass debut, I'm also still learning and haven't capped out on my potential yet. I've played a lot of people who havent gotten any better in years, and while I haven't surpassed all of them, I'm right behind them and know I'm more capable of being a better player simply because of my mentality to want to learn the game proper. On the flip side I've seen my own moments of being a scrub and watched people I taught play Ivy start to do better than me because they chose to educate themselves on stuff I didn't feel was important.
As for the ban discuss...bans are never intended for "really good characters". Hilde breaks a lot of rules to good design. Fighters require a player make several mistakes in order to lose. Hilde can negate this because her RO can happen almost anywhere and the mistake of positioning is null and void and thus the opponent needs to make 1 mistake total to lose a match, while EVERY other character requires much more. She can also guess her way to a 1 mistake kill with C3A aGi'ing. Added to that issue she also has very strong tactics surrounding her 50/50 RO game and charge turtling...all tactics heavily enabling the broken tactic even further. Just because a character is beatable or has not won a tournament does not mean they are not ban worthy. If they break the elements of the very game itself, it alone qualifies them. The designers never intended for the Doom Combo or charge binds. It is an obvious over sight. Seriously, she's banned and anyone who can't figure out why obviously doesnt know shit about balance, now quit bitching about Amy, she's top tier, not broken. Algol is still gray area, simply because his bubbles are unbeatable by some characters, but most of the cast can still fight him.

You've been doing it this whole time. Seriously, come up with a list of this supposed "Fuckton of people you've surpassed." I don't even care whether you've surpassed them by not using Hilde or lag tactics or what the fuck ever, just do it.

also, i think that in the end, this thread in and of itself is doing a pretty good job of differentiating scrubs from good players.
