Nice, I was just starting to get bored with the competition on PSN too. 5bar practice partners that can keep up are always welcome :D

Duragon from SD has been great practice as well. Dude made me learn even more anti-maxi.

are there any big names still on psn?

I was thinking of getting a PS3 but if Im not gonna get the full PSN experience (Krayzie, Woahhzz, SU, RTD, etc etc dont mean to exclude anybody) then I might just get my xbox repaired instead...

Xbox has loloroco, but then again it's pretty much JUST HIM. Actually come to think of it, he hasnt been on in a long time...
 
Woahhzz still plays once in a while but its a PSN 4bar D:

Krayzie is xbl now as o r i g i n z (his bro's account), his ps3 was stolen.

Never seen SU or RTD online. I definitely want to play those two, to test my turtle breaking strategies.

Other than that we have Xeph, NDK, and me. Maybe Dani_Hungerford, Duragon and this bootyclap guy. Kinda drops off from there.

SU and RTD have long since retired from online SC4. Woahhzz still plays sometimes I think, but your connection won't be too great with him. And for me you can play me on xbox when I'm randomly over at my mom's place. I don't think I'm gonna replace my PS3 for a while.

Damnit, Signia beat me to all this info! Is this a sign of what's to come in Pasadena?????

active psn players you may recognize from tourney showings, noface:

woahhzz, egg, mtfighter, xephukai, juece, mick, goofus, bubbles, DINO, eli123s, silentwall, humantyphoon, kikaleek, shinjiurahara, kingace, danman, shogun...RTD is online often and has never turned down a request from me to play. if he doesn't play anymore, that's news to me. then again i see him on and chat but we haven't gotten down on calibur in a couple months. i'm sure he'd like to play you though.

hmm that is all i can think of that i know to be/have been active offline and still play on psn. that is not to say that there are not a ton of other good players who play regularly but have not yet made their way offline, and others who don't really play but most likely would on request.

i love running into bootyclap. for two years now i have considered him to be one of the best guys on PSN. it saddens me greatly that he never started playing offline...i think he could be an extremely good player if he had done so. he has so many ever-changing accounts though. you just kind of have to stumble randomly on him.

also...who wants to side bet me on krayzie vs signia? it isn't maxi you have to kill...it is krayzie. if i can't beat his maxi with sophitia, you got no chance, man. :P

We'll see how much you get to punish when I'm using nothing but safe pokes, throws and mids. You better make me switch characters when we do a FT5, otherwise I'm talking major shit homes! Just like I do to NDK when I beat his Kilik with Maxi even though that's a proven 7:3 matchup in Kilik's favor.

Lobo you are totally correct in regards to Bootyclap. Dude is solid, but young. When I used to play him he was at the age where his parents would laugh at him if he asked to venture off for a video game tourney. That was 2009 though so he should be 18 now, maybe we can convince him to go to the Pasadena tourney. I know he was a SoCal player, hopefully he drives by now.

I'm almost 18, can't drive, and my grandfather talks shit and thinks its dumb I want to go to Pheonix for DEV =\. My mom is pretty neutral on it but seems to be caving.

Bubbles seems to make FC 3AAA work as a poke too. Just throwing that one out there, not sure how it works beyond our games.

not even the sickest of mindgames can overcome this matchup the way I see it. There's no little trick he'll be able to abuse that I haven't seen before, and I'll be able to create favorable r/r for every situation.

sephalump came on with Cervy last night and destroyed my Tira. Kinda built up to it, waiting to see what i could do, i think. That's what i do, so for the first ten seconds we were just circling each other. The last round he did some things i've never seen, it was beautiful. I'm not even sure that was Cervy. Tira was doing pirouettes through most of the last fight. Most interesting fight i've had in months.

thats a lot of crap to remember for one matchup...and that's just 4B? I hope you have this stuff ingrained in your muscle memory because there's no way you're gonna remember all this in the middle of a match.

So yeah teach me some maxi stuff when you come over, yeah?

also why are people forgetting about sophitia's throws? She can throw, remember?
 
anyway why is everyone using this as a pasadena trash talk thread?

and yeah the reason nobody sees me trash talking is because i know im probably gonna get destroyed. krayzie always hypes me up but in the end i'm just like malice, dr dogg, and all the other fools he's styling on while talking trash. :P
