To sum it up quickly, Snacky is the ultimate rage quitter who disconnects before every loss (basically every game he has against anyone good) yet makes all kinds of posts in here about how he's the best. Then you have WONE, who has the most lagtastic Astaroth ever and swears he's good. Dude uses crap like A+B at point blank range, 44{B} shenanigans, 1{A},A_B 'mixups' and stun combos that only work in extreme lag. He's ready to call everyone on here all types of shit like faggot, geek, etc when they call him out on how they beat his ass and he boots them from his hosted rooms everytime after that.

When you make a thread to share your sob stories about lag spam and then waste all your frickin time posting on it, you can't then be surprised when it degenerates further into an abuse forum between lag warriors and forum warriors.

I went 15-1 against you online but offline you wouldn't even win a single fucking game. I know we won't be able to prove that because you will never show up to an offline tourney so oh well.
When 'YOU' make a thread?? First off, this thread was made by Partisan just so we can talk about any off topic issue we want dealing with online games. You don't like it, don't come here...that simple. Yes we know Belial is posting useful info, he actually helped me recently with some Mitsu info. So what this is one of the more active threads? It actually makes sense. The offline scene is pretty small nowadays, it's hard to get offline matches without extreme effort, whereas online games are easy to get so naturally this section is gonna see a lot of traffic. You want useful stuff to talk about? Make a post, start a thread, do something.
I'm gonna go with truth on this one.
Without any infentions to start yet another argument on this thread, bullshit does offline take extreme effort in the US. In the entire UK, I'd say there are at MOST 10 players dedicated to offline play and we still get together, we are on Monday for example. The US scene may have shrunk but it's still SIGNIFICANTLY bigger and though I'm loath to admit it, better than we have over here. 6 months ago there was no UK offline scene, at all, period.
Truth arguably put the most work in to bring the scene back to life, so don't say offline takes extreme effort to him, though I accept you're on a different level to us, I'd wager he's put a lot more effort into establishing offline than you. he's done a lot for our community and if nothing else deserves respect for that.

I replied to WONE because the dude repeated some stuff I said about 7 or so pages back in the thread but then added a lie about how he owns me. I just wanted to set the record straight. And 'impressing everyone that I am 15-1 against Wone'??? I'm not trying to impress anyone or get into a back and forth with Wone, just telling the real score. I'm actually embarrassed about that record, I know people on here are laughing their asses off that I dropped a game to that bum, even if it was online.
And yes I know online sucks, I've said it a million times. But like countless people have said millions of times also, a lot of times it's your only way to get human competition. It's real nice that you put forth the effort to create an offline scene in the UK, I commend you for that. But you can't say that it doesn't take extreme effort for you to get those offline games, I know it does. Synraii said there's only about 10 dedicated offline players in the UK, so how far do each of you drive to meet up? If it's anything over 2 hours, that's extreme effort IMO and proves my point. For me to get offline games in the past 5 months I've had to drive for an hour and a half one way to meet up with people. I'm attending a tournament in 4 weeks that is a 6 hour drive away from me, and it's not even a big tourney. SC4 just isn't popular and takes a lot more work to get offline games.
I didn't even see this part of your post but don't speak about things you're not sure of. Do you know how long I've opened up my apt to complete strangers for not just this game but also SC3 and SC2? Did you even know I hosted the entire NorCal regionals in my tiny fucking apt? 40 people crammed into a shack, don't tell me about effort establishing offline. Like I said above, I commend Truth for the work he's put in but don't go around writing off other folks effort before even bothering to do some research first.

And for me to get offline, one player lives down the street from me, but everyone else is a 3 hour trip each way - minimum. I don't see that as extreme: dedication, yes. Extreme? No.
The drive to EBO is 18 hours from me - now that's extreme and I'm still going.
