The team fortress 2 thread

I've yet to play Thunder Mountain of any kind. And I mean to say that outside of my run-in with WonderWall, I have yet to see anyone that has posed an even remote danger to me while playing, with or without a Medic at my back.

1.) F2P has lowered the overall player skill level considerably. I can tell you that from experience.
Yeah, I've got a good story about that. A few days ago I ran past 2 sentries after drinking a bonk. It turned out they were both unmanned. While I had the sentries distracted a spy ran in. Yay, victory! Oh, he decided to stab the turrets instead of sapping them. :( Never saw a spy do something like that before F2P.

This is awesome. :D I think someone could write a book on the experiences ppl have on these. For me, I cant tell you how many ppl seem to get afraid when they get ubered. Had one guy, playing Heavy, jumped out in front of the entire team on the last point of pl_Frontier. I saw him go in so I popped my Uber on him and he actually stopped shooting, stood still for a moment and hauled ass back behind the wall for safety. The lightning noises and effects must've spooked him.

WonderWall
That guy was in a different league. Most ppl just cant handle the TEAM i guess :P ill get us into a better server next time youre on

They can't handle the Team plus a medic providing invincibility. Plus, people get into a funk where they kill one or two people and run away for more health. If you just killed two people their point is the perfect place to go! I jump in there with 25% life and shoot people and they run away because Call of Duty has made people fall in love with their kill/death ratio, and the prospect of dying to them is awful. Never be afraid to die when you are on offense, and on defense make yourself into a human wall!

And I didn't notice any of that because I don't rely on any players that I do not know. I never expect anyone to be more than a hindrance for me or a distraction for my enemies.

I had a medic on me while I was a demo last week. I saw his uber hit 100%, got the Engineer camp in my sight, and told him to hit it. He ubered me for about 3 seconds until he turned around and started ubering a Heavy instead that was no where near the action. Although that one is not a noob issue. That's just a stupid medic that doesn't realize things other than heavies exist issue.

GGs yesterday Chuck! That server has got some half decent ppl on it. The Granary match was a lot of fun.

Edit: Also forgot to mention: Aquired the Liberty Launcher the other day and its becoming my new favorite RL. Im no Soldier player but id highly recommend it to anyone who is. :D

Yeah, Liberty Launcher is really good. Although the one less rocket does screw me over occasionally.

Yeah definetly messes w your ability to RJ away. Helps you pick off Scouts far, far easier and the noise it makes is badass.
