You are playing online, if you don't want the flow of your game affected by latency, you have no choice but to stop...
Again.... online won t hurt you unless you don't play ONLY online....but in that case between playing only online and not playing at all you'll do better with at least some online training....
A friend of mine did just as you said just to be owned offline by an online player with many lag habits...

And lol I just read that one, 3k... lol... And I remember admitting it can be dodgy but trying to tell him 214a isn't necessarily a lag move if used at the right moments, now I just don't bother if I see him on the list. Complete nonsense.
if 214A evades something its not (its quite effective being sTC and TS)....its part of ignoring the outcome of online matches and focusing on what you do.
But if you land 214A in NH chances are high it was just another laglow...same can be said for mitsu 1A, if it hits in CH is legit even online.

lol

I don't know what's worse. Living somewhere where people ONLY play online, or living in a place where nobody plays the game ;/
Living in a place where nobody plays the game is always worse imo, it's easier to convince someone (who is already into SC) to play offline than convincing someone to start playing SC in the first place.

When people attend to offline gatherings they realize how bad online is, but on the other hand, if it wasn't for online, SC4 would be long dead so maybe it's not as bad as it seems. I think it's always better to have groups of online players who have no clue how the game really works (frames etc) than having no one. A few of them will most likely find 8WR (or similar website), learn the game properly, attend to offline tournaments, become good and eventually, help to keep the game and community alive.

Ivy is only good at ringing out in WP IMO. In CL all she has is A+B B. And maybe CL CH 3A.
My baby can RO in any state, WP its obv, CL 3b 236bb, 66k, loads more, SW either sets up for CL Ros or good ol a+b unbl, or 4a etc

Online is great for winding people up

Now this is a post I humbly agree with 110%. If it weren't for you veterans being patient, fun and nice while kicking ass, I don't think I would be around playing this game more. However.......I still got to get offline.....damn reality *pouts*

there are no decent offline game in uk, other than if you bump into random people visiting in london or at anime expos lol happens a decent amount but not greatest way

I appreciate your enthusiasm for soul calibur. But in the future plese try and refrain from double posts. You can use the "edit" function on the bottom right corner of the posts you make to add or subtract anything you would want. I know its easy to double post (I do it myself sometimes) but please try not to.

Thanks
HRD

Come to the tournament this weekend and see if you still think that, wiseguy. We're behind most remaining communities, true enough, but I'd wager a few of us outplay your standard of 'decent'. =)

But......I live in Florida.......^^;
Aw c'mon - its only like a 6 hour flight to the cradle of your civilisation =P

Sometimes you gotta look for people who truly love the game, bushy21. While SCIV is pretty much settling down, it should be easier when SCV hits the markets. Use that to invite people who share your passion for the game. Then guide them here and spar with them regularly. If you're lucky, you might be able to start a little offline community of your own and can ditch online. If not, it's okay. Utilize your buddies online. Doing both would be the best idea imho. Social network is top tiered.

If you gave me money to get there, I'd come and play you for good fun and whuppings =).
