Xianghua Q and A

soo, quick question. :)
what´s the timing for her 2A+G:B+K? i can get the 2B+G:B+K most of the time, but not the 2A+G one.
any help would be lovely!

you mean BT B+K, seriously? excuse me if I'm wrong, but from what I know, you can't do B+K out of 2A+G

....i mean, unless there's some trick that I don't know about; to which, by all means, let me know

You can't do it. ALl you can do is wait for 2A+G to finish and do the off the ground BT B+K (cuz u're left in BT post throw duh!)

oh, i see, thanks guys! i think i read somewhere that it´s supposed to be a flash-less JF or something. oh well!

whoever said that is spreading misinformation. It's no jf or anything. It's just doing a BT move off the ground. Nothing special about it.

Hi Guys
It was me that said that and its true
if any of you had bothered to ask I would have explained but no you all know better

You can do the BT B+K from the floor after the A+G crouch throw
just press the B+K as her foot touches the ground the same as in the B+G crouch throw and she will spring up and do the back kick

I just started using X seriously about a week ago and I've been able to successfully parry the start of Hilde's doom combo on a number of occasions with 44B+K. My question is, what if anything is the best option to follow up a successful 44B+K?

There's nothing guaranteed after 44B+K, but you can net in some damage depending on the situation. If they tech after the aGI, you get a low throw opportunity (it's a tech trap - I believe it catches tech in all directions). If they refuse to get up after you aGI their move with 44B+K, you could always fiddle around with Xianghua's oki options.

So far I've got it to catch them if they tech left or right and that's it. Further testing required.

You could always just GI her charges instead.

Well, that's true for a parry (4G/1G) in some situations/characters (like when 4G/1G leaves the opponent right next to your feet), at least from what I've tested. From that, I can get a low throw opportunity if the opponent techs forward, left, or right. The 44B+K aGI seems to catch all tech though. I guess I might've been a bit confusing since I referred to it as a parry in my previous post (blue sparks make me think of parries, heh). I tested 44B+K a couple days ago and was able to catch all tech, but maybe I'll give it another shot this weekend.

Eh, I don't think I'd ever try using 44B+K on Hilde, unless the Hilde player was being really predictable with her charges/moves or something. But even then, there are better options at your disposal.

Blue shine?

Hello, I'm not a Xianghua player, but I've seen my friend playing her and sometimes he would shine blue when he used A[A] with her (just kidding!), and I would like to know: what does that do?

Sorry if this has already been asked, I searched a bit and couldn't find anything related to it.

Blue shine?

Well, lets see, if you press B after Silent Xia Sheng (the cute pose she does and says "Just kidding") it will become a guard break attack. If you press K your opponent will get stunned which leaves them open for one of X's low throws. If you press K+G, X will do a taunt called Feng Xia Taunt (Heaven) which looks like she's waving or her hand looks like a claw and she says "pretty good".

Yeah, I know it's a stance, but sometimes she shines blue when she enters that stance and sometimes she doesn't, and I couldn't figure out any difference at all.

So I've been having this problem with X's command grab lately. Sometimes I get both parts to work, but the opponent is able to block the second part. Is there some kind of weird delay or glitch or something I'm not aware of?
(This is happening offline by the way)

It's a glitch, because the opponent should never be able to block the second part of her command throw. It has only happened to me once so I really don't know what triggers it.

Yeah that's what I figured... I mean what's the point in a command throw that has a delay? Unless by breaking B before getting hit with the second part allows you to recover... though that's not likely.

so...can you "force" a blue shine or is it a random occurrence? in training, if i don't attack the first time or two with sxs, i get blue afterwards. (haven't tried it in battle though)
