Dampierre is a pre order exclusive. Info about collector's edition. EU release date

Definitely getting the CE package, and wow does that box art scream epic. Dampierre...well, I'll DL him sure.

Is Dampierre interesting in gameplay terms or it's only a joke character like Doctor Boskonovitch in Tekken 3?

The Ezop trailer was no joke; he WILL appear. But it seems he'll only be available if you pre-order. Look at these screens.

I've always wondered what he'd be like as a console character. So far he seems faithful to his Broken Destiny counterpart. I'm going to preorder the Limited Edition, so I know I'll be trying him out again!

Dr. B was actually pretty competitive, having a lot of good tools - including a version of EWGF lol

Le Bello is both awesome and viable. Finally a reason to get hyped about this damn game, yay.

Am I the only one on the Dampierre hate wagon? Guess so.

Honestly don't care for some lame cool character like Dampierre.

More interested how Viola will work with those orbs...

Who is he fighting in the 5th pic?1 I wanna think its Hilde, but looks Male, and looks almost like Kilik.

So, based on him referring to himself as "le bello", do we think Dampierre is Italian too? Doesn't that mean "the handsome one" in Italian or something like that? Does he even have a bio from BD?

Yes, "Bello" is good looking, beautiful :D

Maybe he speak a lil bit of italian, his stage was Venice... but as name Dampierre sound nothing italian, totally french

The name "Pierre" here is Piero (nearly ever male italian names end with "o", and "a" for female: m Piero, f Piera)

Thanks mate. There's an Italian restaurant in my village - the owner is called Pietro, which I guess is similar?

Maybe Dampierre is French then?

Or maybe Belgium,or they just made him to be a vagrant without birthplace, wich for him can fit
Anyway yes,the name is french language type. Maybe it don't even exist(like Voldo is'nt an existing name) but made to sound like french :D

If i must do a bet i say Monte Carlo, wich is in France(technically Principality of Monaco, actually a city-state) but near to italian border, and is very famous for his Casinò(this can explain the french cards aces on him),gambling and moneys... sound perfect for him :D

ps: yes, basically "Pietro" is our "Peter"

Hey that's a good theory - Monaco would suit Dampierre really well - nice fit with the playing cards/casino!

Is Voldo not an actual Italian name then?

No :D

And also searching something similar the only name that i can think finish with "oldo" is "Leopoldo",that sound strange for our days but i suppose was ok considering when is set SC

Btw is not problem, the simple fact that you thinked that "sound italian" mean that they did a good job at create an "italian name":D
Like Dampierre i suppose,it seem the fusion between Damien and Pierre (and Pierre happen get combined, example Jeanpierre)
