[Dec 3, 2011] North East Championships XII (Philadelphia, PA)

I have a placement on my nursing course which sadly coincides with the event, so I had to pull out. Incidentally, whoever thought of charging people for flight cancellations is a CUNT.
Were I going however, I would have absolutely no intention of trying to win it - I'd treat it like any other tournament I go to: a chance to learn first hand from better players.

Explain to me where in here it says you meant the states only? I only pulled you up because saying Malek hasn't won anything lately is just... Bogus.

Of course it's a business. Everyone in the states knew what I was talking about including Malek which I dont expect him to say. This is an American forum and we welcome all to join, but Malek hasnt won anything since I returned from Afghanistan and been back on the scene here. What's bogus is you defending Malek like you're his manager. Malek already know what it is and I wish you were coming so I could show you too.

I do not go to tourneys to lay down and discredit myself as a joke. U keep that up because you seen to be really good at it. Furthermore, it's too late to learn on SCIV the game ran it's course and this is the last major for it in the states.

So dictator captain, are you finally going to RSVP yes for this tourney ?
Who are the members of your squad then ?

chacha wanna know so he can bet 500$ just like GO.
It's going to be 1000$ bet on the team battle, hope your squad will represent well Mick !

I'm glad you asked Malek. I'm confirmed, I know the guys arent going to let me down. I cant wait to play you this time. We will be having another FT10 btw. R u ready? It seems everyone has already decided the team, however, we will confirm the team in a couple of days when everyone is ready to discuss the final one.

TF10 ok. How much can you put on it ?
Couple of days ok. Is OOF confirmed yet ?
Oof you didn't rsvp yes either...

I heard DEV has 60+ players. Only 40 to NEC XII so far...

Oh boy, here we go...
Of course it's a business. Everyone in the states knew what I was talking about including Malek which I dont expect him to say.
Not necessarily. Generally its better to explain what you mean clearly rather than leaving details up to assumption. A fairly basic rule of good communication really. =/

So Malek hasn't won anything in the states (halfway across the world) since you've been back. Fair enough. Have you won a major (halfway across the world) since you got back? In fact, have you won a major period since you got back? Because as far as I'm concerned, Malek has the best recent tournament results compared to you worldwide by a country mile. Not to mention the french scene is currently stronger than the US scene at high level, imho at least. =/
What's bogus is you defending Malek like you're his manager.
Defending? No. Pointing out when you're wrong? Yes.
Malek already know what it is and I wish you were coming so I could show you too.
Spare me - I don't need to cross the planet to know you'd 5-0 me like I was a day 1 scrub. I get that. Just as well I don't have your ego on this matter really...
I do not go to tourneys to lay down and discredit myself as a joke. U keep that up because you seen to be really good at it.
I accept that I'm not top level and want to improve constantly until I reach said level. This is a bad thing?
Furthermore, it's too late to learn on SCIV the game ran it's course and this is the last major for it in the states.
Maybe so - but its still experience, which will translate to SCV in some manner. Unless you're retiring after SCIV of course...

Finally, granted it is much easier to have an opinion when one isn't directly involved - as Daishi's twitter has proven so often (fan's tweets I mean) but in all honesty, I don't see you beating Malek. Don't get me wrong, I'll still root for you, but I honestly think he's going to cash in off of you. =/

DEV had 60+ players, but only about 30 actually participated. The others got scurred; also, there was about 15 players noting of skill, the others were randoms.

Synraii: Malek is not going to cash in on me. Malek, please inform your fellow follwer that's not exactly a free win for you. Ask me some of the same questions when SCV comes out. I'm a force to be reconed with. A tourney win isnt everything to me right now. I've seen and know what it's going to be in SCV. I'm done with this conversation it's for the birds.

Funny. Tournament wins seemed to be everything when you were talking about his US performance...
And I'm not saying you're free to Malek: I'm saying the last time you two FT10'd he won convincingly, the matchup is easily in Ivy's favour and you've been on service, Malek's been competing all the way through - it sounds a safe bet to me... =/

Do you know Malek vs Mick track record? That's only one FT10.

To add to that, I knew I was too far behind to expect to win over the people that's been playing since day one in a few attempts. It's about the hype, do you think if everything was so free Malek would continue to come back? He like the challenge. I understand you're a fan, so i'm about to treat you as such this point on.
