this game isn't reality either. Who knows, in this fantasy world, perhaps some random person invented "modern" clothing earlier than normal.

Considering we're talking about the core theme of a game and not a vacation trip.
Reality and logic aren't the same, and now we're diving into continuity.
Yoshimitsu isnt modernized though compared to Jack from Tekken.

but he's just as much a robot as jack, and they did not have that kind of technology back then. Regardless, its a suit. Its not a big deal if they decide to throw it in.

Not every warrior has to be clad in iron or other forms of metal. Take Seigfried in SCIV. To combat the heat he added ice crystals to his armor to keep him cool while swinging around that big ass sword. We all know that the amount of 3Bs thrown out during a fight will make him drenched with sweat

I don't really understand it, either. Don't like modern cloths, umm, don't use them? But a lot of people want to be able to use them, and why shouldn't they? This game can be whatever we make it, a devs job is to have their game relate to the greater player base, not a few disgruntled souls, especially when the feature is in very optional and not at all mandatory in any way. No one loses anything because of modern clothes in a game.

Well, EIN can show up regardless, that's no physical augmentation to the character themselves. But... flying? Then again, the wings look to be on & off. Fire breath can be thrown in there as well.
Now that I think of it, I wonder if they're going to give Aeon a bunch of Kratos and True Ogre (Tekken) moves. Kratos has the on/off wings, and True Ogre as wings and fire breath and some tail attacks.

You say that like Lizardman didn't alreddy look crazy as a CAS. If you use his style, the CAS loses every bone in its body.
As for wings, I say the option to customize their appearance from a few types would be neat.
