[Dec 3, 2011] North East Championships XII (Philadelphia, PA)

I agree with Malice. Don't get me wrong, team north america vs. team europe is an exhibition match we all wanna see, but other than that who really gives a shit about the team tournament? It's something we do because we have extra time, of which we won't have as much this time.

SC V > Team Tournament
I agree.. The hell w/team tourny.. Its all about playin SCV now...

Team Tournament > SCV

And I'm not just saying that because I'm banned from going to NEC.

Project Soul thinks that France is #1 at SC. They give them all the attention and they give them SCV. They even admitted in an interview that they think France is the best. This is our chance to prove them wrong. SCV is gravy and all but we all get it in about two months. Proving to everyone that North America is better than Europe at SC is something we only get to do once in a blue moon.

Team North America:

SwordLord
XBLPunisher1564
YoshiCookie
that other guy
S-U
Eli

I believe in you guys.

We're not saying don't do Team NA vs. Team Europe

but one match doesn't make up a tournament. the 6 v 6 is going to happen. I'm talking about a multiple team 3 v 3 tournament, that's what we should skip

Oh, for some reason I thought you guys were talking about the 6v6 tournament. I guess it's because I thought it was agreed that the 3v3 teams wouldn't happen.

Anyways I agree with you guys. 3v3 is a waste of time when better things could be going on, such as the singles tournament starting earlier.

FYI, I don't count that as a true 'tournament' win, but it's just crazy when people say tournaments are what matter most without giving clarification as to why.
During casuals, nothing is on the line. No incentive to put in full effort. As to where tournament and/or money matches, your cash or tournament life is in jeopardy. I'm in full agree-ance with this theory; even when I, personally, put my whole self into every match. Casual or not.

I'm sure you knew this, though.

And this is why none of your numerous victories on me matter.

LostProvidence: I just wanted you to know I seriously contemplated giving you advice that may completely destroy your nervousness problem 100%. But I decided to withhold this information to be an ass instead. The secret works for me, at least. Everybody should've noticed already I am fearless. I'll tell you after NEC. GoOdLuCk.

So S-U isn't making it? Typical of S-U...

Has to make a fuss about everything, become the center of attention... and then not even show up.

I was referring to the team tournament at SJ. Like I said, though, tournament wins are fickle things. I remember our match at FSAK. And, yeah, I lost a set to Lolo (if he counts the one where we played when we woke me up, then 2, but, if so, I'm counting the one back at SJ where he didn't use Yosh and we're even. =P).

Yo a word of advice just play with people that doesnt sand bag on casuals and take the game seriously, period if you know that someone you are about to play does not take casuals seriously dont play them period, dont understand people that pay 400 dollars to travel and meet new players and say that casuals dont matter, takes this for example, i beat Aris in the tekken tournament so that automatically says im better than him? in my opinion i dont think so, but for some people in their mind thats enough to be better than someone 2 matches wow im such a strong player i beat aris im betterrrrrr than himmmmm yea right my ass, so take it into consideration, peace out.
