None of you have any right to take shots at Philadelphia because they aren't offering rides.

Sporko lives 20 minutes north of Philadelphia, and the venue is another 20 minutes down from the city. He should be owed a substantial amount of gas money if he makes that trip.

Malice works, and has a heavy burden with his family responsibilities. Plus, why should he be jumping at the chance to give rides when just about all of you constantly shit on him and say he's trash at the game? If I was him, I'd tell you all to go fuck yourselves.
 
I love them all. And I expect nothing nor am I trashing anyone for not being able to give a ride anywhere. I can understand that completely. People got their shit to do. And anyone hating for that is full of shit. BUT...ahem...and I'm trying to be sensitive here because Malice is my boy and quite possibly one of the better hype men ever to grace the gaming genre...but he IS pure trash at this game!

People in NYC don't own cars, and for good reason. NYC is not the whole state, it's just the only part of the state that really matters. Although I guess raising cows and shit is important too, lol.

Khent speaking of, I'll be in Friday night, 10-11pm or so most likely. Much love for Philly people, even though Malice will still be buying me that cheesesteak right along with Scrub the SlideChuckfaceism. But just because I'm makin y'all buy me food doesn't mean I don't love you all lol.

I don't think anybody would be mad if someone said they can't do it; no one here's obligated to do anything. But, trust me from what almost turned my entire Dev trip bad (though our circumstances different), some type of answer is better than nothing at all. It may just be my personality or the way I was raised, but I think stuff get solved way easier if people are direct, regardless of feelings involved.

East coast is so shit that they can't even give one of the best hopes for Team USA a ride. Ramon is going to be forced to take a cab so he can defend your country and all I'm seeing is excuses.

hey, man, i was sitting, waiting for you to call for a ride literally for hours. i have PMs and half this site has my phone #. i didn't know your flight number, arrival time, airline...hell i didn't even know the terminal, and there are 3, and they are miles apart. i made like 8 trips to the airport, and wouldn't have minded it being 9 one bit, but i ain't psychic. we pretty much both failed on the whole communication thing.

anyway that isn't why i came in here to post.

all this bickering about cabs and gas money and these carless, careless adults in an area that has like 20 players and is half the size of arizona made me sit here facepalming for 30 minutes, trying to come up with a clever or funny or simply not horribly tasteless way to work this into a post because it cracked me up.

i couldn't do it and it is 4 am, though, so fuck it.

I'm not blaming anyone; I know we both fucked up. But we cleared up all the confusion as soon as we saw each other. I was using how I felt before we both explained our situation to each other as an example.

Khent those reasons are fine and all but come on now. Sporko lives 20 minutes north of Philly? I live 45 minutes away from SFO yet I've picked up all kinds of folks who have flown into my area, be it KDZ, Linkrkc, Vints, Saitoh and the French players, whoever and never asked for gas money. It's not every week you guys have a major with folks flying in from all over the place, just for one week could you go a bit out of your way to help out your fellow SC players? I'm not trying to take shots at you like my other NorCal brethren lol, I'm just trying to understand how out of a fair amount of Philly players no one can help out a fellow player and his girl?
 
Khent - i dont care about gas money, i would pay however much you or anyone needed but its cool, hopefully when DK comes i'll send someone NOT from Philly to ensure he get a ride to the hotel.

and just because we say malice is ass means he isnt gonna do anything for us like pick us up? Really!? I mean i know how sensitive Philly is when you talk shit to them (which is why i do it) but ...REALLY!?

but if everyone is too busy i understand

Its some money issues, I really wish I could get that resolved, but I don't have enough time for that. Looks like I wont get to eat popeyes with you guys.
