I actually wasn't upset, for the record. I was genuinely confused. If he'd just said NJ, I'd have thought nothing of it, but how is NY picking people up? I had a mental image of the NY players getting a pickup call and then just throwing the driver out and commandeering a city bus.

Or, and the funny part about this one is that I could actually picture it happening in my head, Serge just randomly pulling up to the sidewalk for a pickup driving a horse drawn carriage. This is Serge we're talking about, so if I had to guess, he'd probably be wearing a tuxedo t-shirt, a top-hat and a bow-tie. Not saying a word about the carriage, or where it came from, why he's driving or even where he learned how. He'd just say "Yoooo. Get up on this." And, with that, the group would board and ride off to their destination, not saying a word, not questioning, simply accepting that this is what happens when you know Serge.

For team north america, let's go with:

Linkrkc -> He's the original Ivy and was the best one before school. No one has better defense than the kid. He's being called upon and no will rise to challenge better than the prodigy.
Thugish -> has established himself in the soul calibur community of possibly being the best player in the world. Thugish is a must have.
DreamKiller -> DK and I steam rolled everyone at the last NEC and he plays Amy. DreamKiller is soul calibur.
Woahhzz - > The one
Mick -> Soul Calibur legend. For the most part, Mick has been in the army and still placed in every tournament. This is the first time he's had a chance to practice in SC4 and he's fed up with Ivy . All I gotta say is watch out.
Lolo -> has been on a roll lately as he is the best Yoshi in the world. At summer jam, he was the most valuable asset for his team as he single handedly took his team to victory. also, he is up there with Woahhzz as the most knowledgable player in North America. Did I also mention gimmicky?

There you have it. 2 kids playing Ivy and 2 Amys. That's who I'd put my money on any day.

Europe: I'll see you guys for sc5 but in the meantime, I got $300 on North America. Just let me know who will match my bet.

Speaking of picking people up. If I make this I will be arriving Sat afternoon 12:00-3:00 the latest. I need someone to pick me up. So I'm asking either Sporko or Malice since ur the only philly natives with a car. My current phone is temp suspended for a bit so I have another temporary phone with a number I barely even know that can only do phone calls no text. If u get a call from a random number on Sat if i go its prob me. No text just calls. If ur able to pick me up please let me know before i even debate going.

Today sucks.

Missed flight. 4 hour layover for a POSSIBLE flight. On my last bit of cash.

On the positive note, I found that I have an extra bed for my room. if someone needs it, hit me up, and we can negotiate price (I will arrive and confirm the room today)
 
Oh yeah, if anyone's kind enough, will anyone that has a camera let me use it for a couple hours on saturday, so I can record some SC5 matches for my laptop?
 
If yall can make requests to Daishi, please have him think about adding some of the bonus characters from sc3 to sc5, as DLC or something (namely Miser), they're way better than these all-new characters are.
 
I'm so Sadd I can't go to this. So Sadd. For some reason I don't think any SCV Tourney will be as good as this one, regardless of who is not going. I miss you guys and miss competing at this game.
