Originality

If it is true that we can set, it will depend on some of my characters. Some of them that I create are moving towards fan-service-ish, so I won't mind setting things to break. However, on most of them, it will be more "strategic" parts that breaks. If they have a hood, then the hood will break. The upper armor layer will probably break too, but I don't like it when the gloves and boots break usually, so they will be kept depending on the character design.

Jeez I can't wait already, but I know I'll have to unlock a bunch of things before really getting into CAS. Sadly, unlike in SCIV, not all 2P items are available (though some 1P hair, such as Tira's).

it would be awsome to have the SCII nightmare outfit in game or hell even DLC SCIV pissed me off for DLC like 5 bucks to download nightmares helmet but sadly i bought it anyway cuz nightmares my favorite fighting game villian. damn you namco!

So far I couldn't find the option on it. I also don't seem to find any elf ears yet unless I'm blind, so maybe I either have to unlock it, or it's somewhere in the game that will be unlocked through DLC (which will be DUMB since the thumbnail for CAS has a guy with elf ears).

This is a bit off topic though so I'll stop on the rant.

By all means, continue. If you find any information before us, report it here so we may continue to expand upon what we have. The more we have to work with, the better off we shall be.

you know with that option every dudes besides homosexuals gonna set the break options on girls to yes and dudes to no. sadly i might lol

Truth be told, I usually don't put too terribly much on some of my characters anyway. I utilized the fundoshi in every respect, mostly because I knew some folks, not gonna name names, would be distracted by a muscled guy in a thong.

I never did anything stupid however--no hot-pink thongs on old men using Voldo's weapons or anything like that. But if I make a samurai, I'm sorry, samurai wore fundoshi and thus, my Mitsurugi-esque characters wore them. Just like my 'wild man' wore the executioner's cloth and so on and so forth.

But now that I've played SCV and experienced the game fully, I have this to say; if the CaS was not as good and in-depth as it is, I would sell this game right back to Game Stop. A game's saving grace shouldn't be the create-a-character area, especially a fighting game. But I love the creation mode way too much to get rid of this game.

Are you serious? O.o Why? What's wrong with the rest of it?

First and foremost: you just got the game. It is not gonna have everything for you right there when you pop in the game. For character creation, work is involved. Regular characters should not need to be unlocked, but items like these goes without saying.

Secondly: You play the game for...not even a day? Give the game a chance. Play it more. Learn it. If you are still unhappy with it, that's all well and good. Unless a game is rank horrid, you should give it more time to show you all it has to offer.

Customizing Yoshimitsu is weird. I saw a mummified Yoshi when I start.....

But the first customs I'll post for fashion are the mascots Pocky Yoshi and The Holy Shogun. Right now they're just edits, but it'll improve in good time.

Also the CAS mode is like porn to me. So gorgeous! I can't wait to unlock all the equipment so I can get to making my originals.

found out that the way to unlock everything is by leveling up. and the quickest way I can find to level up is by either playing online or arcade i think. the highest level i saw to unlock things is all the way until level 99.

And just to specify, I wasn't complaining about the CaS. I was saying it was the game's best feature--an as amazing as it is, the saving feature shouldn't be the create-a-soul. Not when there are what, six brand new characters, two of which have highly original fighting styles?

I didn't want to say why I don't like it on here because this isn't the thread for it. I didn't want to point out how unbalanced the characters' fighting styles are on this thread because it's for creation. I didn't want to point out that one is forced to use about 6 characters if you want to stand a chance of ever having a victory online--

That established, I've made three Violas, one Raphael, one Astaroth and one Mitsurugi and one Seigfried all the same. The last three are basically there because they are the only way to succeed online. I am trying very hard to figure out Viola but the characters themselves look incredible in my opinion and I would kill to know how to get a really good picture of one of them on here.

So, NOW that my complaints are gone--it's time to gush.

Ahem.

OMG!!! MAKEUP! TATTOOS! PATTERNS ON CLOTHES! THIS. IS. AMAZING! It is SOO cool! I mean, how awesome is it!? Now I can use my characters and not worry about stats or things like that! I mean, there's a few times in CaS where they mention 'may effect strength' but I've no clue what they mean besides maybe a character's reach? Anyone? Anyone?

Just putting this out there; I've made some post of some outfits I made in SCV. You can check out my thread if you want to see what I came up with so far

At the risk of sounding like a dummy, what method do people find the best for taking pictures?
For SCIV: shitty camera shots
For SCV: Using the screen capture (PS3 only). -How this works is once you're in creation mode, press the start button and select "view." Afterwards, go to the Photos section of the XMB and find an icon that says something like "Screenshot capture." Choose it, take a picture with the (X) button and it saves to your hard drive!-
