[Wisconsin] Wisconsin still exists? WTF?

so with the advent of SC5 on the horizon, i've been thinking about going to some local tourneys when it comes out. any ideas as to where to start?

(i live in racine btw)
 
I dunno, I'm in West Bend. Trying to kickstart a mini-scene here but more chance on it falling through than not. I'm going to start traveling to Milwaukee for MK9 anyways so if we can get somewhere that way I could make it every week or so for sessions if it's not too far off and doesn't screw with my schedule.

The guy who posted above you maybe. If you trick him into thinking SC5 is a good game, then you might have some better luck.
 
I'm new to the series, but if there's an offline scene around here I'll definitely be getting into it more competitively. I'm from the Milwaukee area, but I frequent Madison quite a bit (every week or at least once every other week).

Well, I will probably be starting a Milwaukee league. I think it'd be a good idea. Tourneys, Casuals, usual stuff. We can even go up against Madison league sometimes. The more I think of this idea the more I like it. Although, if there are any objections, we can just not do it.
 
ya'll watch out J wong is trying to come to Scv and win tourneys. I saw him on the stream beating on floe with Xiba and he is already nice at the game.!

Hey all,

Yes, I still exist. Will be picking up SCV after work today. I probably won't have the time to go to as many tourneys as I have for past games, but I'm definitely up for the occasional meet-up. I could even host occasionally if people are interested in playing on my 120" wall (video lag is not really any worse than the average flat-panel HD displays that I expect most people are playing on.)

Ill be around playing in milwaukee at my house. Also there will be a tourny Feb 18th for scv. If anyone wants to come play that isnt a complete scrub and is willing to learn hit me up.

I'm more likely than not going to head to this. I'm not the best guy out there but I'm decent, at least I'd like to think. If I turn out to not be a total scrub in your eyes are you up for helping people get better? I've heard you're a pretty damn good player so I'd be up to listening to whatever you've got to say about improving my play.

Uh if I get enough practice in I might show up to play sometime. There is onle one person that I know that plays besides me out here in BFE Horicon.

Still trying to find a place that would host us. But besides for that it looks like it will come along nicely. :D
