Can someone please tell me if they have a cow head like in SC4?
It is vital to my identity!
:(
Yes, there is cow head. Rejoice, friend!
CaS was one of the reasons I started seriously playing the series. I always found the fifty slots so...limiting. Just yesterday I had to delete all of my created characters to usher in a whole roster of new ones. It seems silly of them to not have increased the CaS limit, but alas, it's already done.
The bulkyness is indeed quite odd, but if you don't stack a the upper body equipment & the upper body covering it won't be bulky. Everything but your pants break off during battle anyways so if you don't stack them it doesn't make much of a difference. At least from my experience.I find the clothing options to be rather....underwhelming.
I mean, I know I still have some more stuff left to unlock, but the general appearance of some of this stuff is really awkward. Most of it is unnecessarily bulky, so it just doesn't look right on the character. And most of the patterns are just boring.
Even the skirt options are bulky... it's not really just an armor thing. :/ That scaled fauld is a prime example. It seems CaS isn't a main draw for you, though, judging by your last two lines. For myself, it's what kept me coming back after SC3. "Ooooh, what will they do to improve it now?!". Then again, I come from a customization background anyway... modding FFT to look and feel the way I want it to, for example. The bulkyness is indeed quite odd, but if you don't stack a the upper body equipment & the upper body covering it won't be bulky. I love CaS, I make a few characters now and then to take a break from fighting. Plus, since there are less hitbox issues now I can play with customs with my friends; also thanks to the height options my CaS has the same reach as my main. :DEven the skirt options are bulky... it's not really just an armor thing. :/ That scaled fauld is a prime example. I hope you're talking about the 3DS version of SCV because honestly, it's VERY unlikely that they will update SCV with something like a ''Legendary Edition'' or ''Ultimate Soul Edition''. Broken Destiny for the PSP had all the DLC stuff for SCIVs' console version IIRC,so I expect that to happen in the handheld version of this game. Not sure if these items are included in the equipment percentage but I fully expect a lot of this to eventually be released in a more complete version of SCV 7-12 months down the road.
No I fully expect Namco to jump on the re-release wagon. SCV was rushed. No doubt about it and I believe that if the game and DLC sells well then Namco will re-release the game in a more complete form. SCIV never received an updated edition because developers had never tried to re-release a legendary, ultimate, etc... edition of a game before. It has now been seen that this is possible and that companies can release a game a little unfinished in order to get some extra time to work on a better version of the game. It is profitable in this day and age and I fully expect to see a SCV Legendary/Super/Ultimate/Complete/Arcade edition of the game 7-12 months down the line. It is VERY unlikely that they won't do this. Not to mention the complaints with story mode telling nothing and arcade mode being the worst in a SCV game since ever, the lackluster items available for CaS, and the fact people will pay for an updated game a more complete version is inevitable.I hope you're talking about the 3DS version of SCV because honestly, it's VERY unlikely that they will update SCV with something like a ''Legendary Edition'' or ''Ultimate Soul Edition''. No. Namco done goofed again, gosh durn it, and prioritized online over offline. No offline CAS sharing, and only 50 slots, shared between main cast recolors and original characters. Yawn. Also no offline replays....we must know whether we can both use our custom created characters (each from his individual xbox account) against each other or not in the new soul calibur game....
