now most people have the game they dont talk to us Europeans anymore :(
I could have had mine today, but my internet crashed for an hour, and I received the mail just after it crashed, and when it was fixed, I had no way to reach the store in time... So I'm pretty pissed :D
So tomorrow, no one will see me around here... For days! xD

you order yours from the US?

I wish they had moved over more models from SC4. They look muuuuuuuuuuch prettier in this updated engine.

I guess I'll fiddle with movelists next and see if there's anything interesting there.
Like I said to you in a pm, you could just take the models from 4 directly and just mode them with the game. Though there might be an animation problem with inputs.

-In the executable there's a list of strings of names as they're referenced by some of the code. The new characters added since SC:BD are (as written in the file and in the order they appear):
ZWEI
VIOLA
PYRRHA
EVIL PYRRHA
PATROCLUS
TRUTH PATROCLUS
NATSU
XIBA
LEIXIA
AEON
YOSHIMITSU2
ELYSIUM
MASTER KILIK
BOSS ASTAROTH
BOSS CERVANTES
BOSS NIGHTMARE
DEVIL JIN
GUEST1
GUEST2

The most interesting thing is that Ezio isn't mentioned by name, and instead there's 2 guest slots. I guess they considered having another guest at some point?

I have a question regarding this: Can you check and see how big the size of these particular files are? I'm curious because we have coding for a second guest (possibly Bayonetta, but hopefully not), and if you can check the file sizes, you can compare the two guests against eachother and the rest of the files. The reason why is because if the second guest file is about teh same size as the others, then that means that it is finished (or close-to-finised) like the others, possiby indicating the presence of another character.

If it's coding, it might name names if you open it in Notepad or something (I'm only guessing, because I don't know what filetypes these are). If you can, I'd like to see what you can dig up by trying to open this file. Maybe it will give us a clue as to another guest for DLC later on?

Well, whoopsie, I may have gotten Pyrrha completely naked.

What I posted are not filenames, it's just strings (lines of text) from the executable. There's probably more code related stuff for some of these inside the source code (which is impossible to look at), but considering there are no assets for a second guest (or any other DLC character besides Dampierre), it's very safe to conclude there are no other finished characters.

It doesn't work. The model format seems to be almost identical, but it's different enough it crashes the game (it also doesn't work to move models from SC5 to SC4, with the exception of the few un-used models in SC5. which are Kamikirimusi, Zasalamel and the 2 nude models. which is a big hint those models are from early in development of SC5).

He didn't list every male armour from the rar file I posted. The armour you showed is 00381_o2060000.dds. I'm very VERY certain no CAS item is missing from the thumbnails I uploaded.

Some people are claiming to have seen Hwang as an opponent in Quick Battle, with his own unique style. Seems weird that you haven't found anything when you looked into the movesets...Unless he used Leixia's style and people got confused

I can take another look at movesets later. I didn't go through them all since it's a hassle to deal with them and they easily cause crashes. But based on what I went through, there's nothing hidden.

Holy shit @ the pyrrha

Regarding the "hwang" ... i believe it is supposed to be a joke as he looks almost identical to hwoarang from tekken... is also using the devil jin soul

There has to be unused lines, especially for the story mode. When do you plan to check the audio files, Sectus? :)

I'm honestly not sure what to do with them. Looking closer, the speech are 2 in sets which are in different formats. And I'm not sure how to convert either.

I've also not been able to extract the files for story mode so far.
