pretty sure nightmare needs a wallsplat for that, and he's always been able to do obscene wall combo damage
 
ya i did, but not far from where i was staying, i moved to orange county for a while, but im living in carson now, hehe ya pyrrah but i dont know how to use her, i dont know how to play soul calibur 5, i feel like its such a foreign game for some reason, what is step 2g? anyone going to the tourney on saturday in upland? i wanna go, but fuck an hour drive for me :\

lol i think we were under the impression that 3 different sc5 tourneys this weekend, although there are two sc5 tourneys this weekend, the one krazie mentioned and another on sunday at i believe super arcade which aris had mentioned

ah joe couldnt make it, gotta keep in mind i sleep from the hours of 11AM - 7PM pretty much every day, tomorrow im gonna be waking up earlier at aruond 5PM to makeit in time to the upland tourney, <rant> seriously its 2012 guys, why the fuck is an hour of traveling required to go to a tourney, can i haz my teleporter stationz already? at least flying cars, thats what back to the future promised us </rant>

It's really not. Just practice it.

The window is smaller, so it covers less attacks, but there is a safe way to do it where you'll JG the fastest attacks and block slower attacks. To do this, tap and release G before you'd get hit, then hold G again.

Congrats to CaliJared for winning the Upland tourney. I thought Astaroth was free up until now :( but Jared is solid. Nice meeting everyone else too.

To continue the discussion about JG, Aris and I were occasionally able to do them in our tournament matches, though I rarely got anything out of it. With a little more practice I'll be getting at least a 30 damage Mitsu 6B8 if you decide to attack right away or if I see a move I can react to. Too bad it leaves you vulnerable to throws, though with practice the G press won't distract throw breaking.
