A little something I thought I'd share. Jenny Hyun is a Korean songwriter. She has wrote song's for SNDS and, Chocolat. Floyd Mayweather, African American boxer made a comment about Jeremy Lin. He said "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."

That comment was biased, yes. Though Jenny Hyun took it to another level. Thought this is something I should share.

she has a point about Whitney Houston and the violence...look at Africa as continent its a shithole.
Its the oldest civilization and the farthest behind

the only functioning part of it is south africa...and its not ran by black people
Genocide is never cool though
inb4 a bunch of retards call me racist for stating facts

as for my opinion I think we'd be better off without the continent (PROVE ME WRONG), Although the blacks who live in the developed world are fine

Oh boy...

Do you really think that Africa just magically became impoverished overnight? It was Europe who exploited and enslaved Africans in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The scramble for Africa changed the whole continent for the worse.

I could go on longer, but dealing with you would obviously be a waste of my time. You can't make an entire racist post then say you don't support genocide and say that you're not racist.

I was going to respond with a long winded post about how you are everything wrong with america and how you brought up moot points. But then I decided to just say this.

"I was stating facts how is that racist? Are you a racist for saying ENGLISHMEN BURNED JOAN ARC AT THE STAKE?No? Well shut up and stop race baiting. That type of pc bullshit has cost people money, careers, and time.
Big deal black people were oppressed before I was born I dont give a shit. I care about what I do. I treat everyone equally. I dont suffer from white guilt. Substituting white guilt for an argument wont work on me"

ps I even said black people in developed counties are fine how is that racist....nationallist probably....but not racist

I could honestly care less about whatever she said was true. The only thing she showed me was her stupidity and, being able to answer back ignorance with more ignorance. She's tarnishing K-pop music and, frankly I hope she loses her job. Some people have said they deleted all their SNDS songs written by her or, deleted them all. Nevertheless, she has little hope if she dare moves back to America to pursue her singing career. Record labels will deal with controversy but, not something with this level of stupidity.

We all know most pop-stars are morons, no matter what country they are from. No one really gives a shit about her opinion. People only like her for superficial shit. Bitch could die tomorrow and no one would truly give a shit (specially after this, lol). You'd just have people do the usual "pretending to care" BS (see: Whitney Houston) that they do with all pop-stars that die.

Honestly, people should only be surprised when a pop-star actually says something intelligent because intelligence isn't a requirement when it comes to being a pop-star.

pretending to care? don't confuse showing respect and caring because they're two different things bruh. To qualify that; I can show respect to someone who passed away but do i actually give a fuck about him/her? It'll depend on the person wouldn't it?

food for thought: Racism is born of ignorance. So does it stand to reason that it may be possible that racist comments and actions can come from people who actually think they're not being racist? after all, it'll take someone to educate you to free you from ignorance, but are actually willing to listen or more importantly, learn?

as for this? it'll blow over and be forgotten. so long as she keeps her stupid mouth shut and lays low... and this here gives her an excuse to do just that:

http://jennyhyun.wordpress.com/2012/02/19/apology-to-all/

and from what I understand, she lives in New York, not Korea. I could be wrong tho..

I'm still stuck on the fact that there are people still listening to that boxer. When will he man up and fight manny?

Or if that doesn't float your boat...

Sorry bro, Africa (aside from Egypt or Carthage, or the parts that the Muslims overran in the first millenium AD) hadn't made a significant contribution to civilization since the days of Kush. Thousands of years of doing absolutely nothing, not even inventing the wheel, until Europeans came and brought it to them.

That BS about Africa being impoverished now because of European exploitation is just a lie. They've just been continuing on the same track they always have.

That is part of it (and we have two prime examples here who should probably go to the library and look up African history post 1850). But when you say you support genocide, that crosses the line beyond basic ignorance.

you are an idiot, stop scape goating

The continent is a shithole get over it, The jews have been a nomadic people mistreated for centuries until very recently but Isreal is a very stable country. Africans aren't the only people to have faced a great injustice.

what do european slave traders have to do with african progress as a region?
did Europeans take all the smart people?
In rowanda they kill each other over tuti and futu titles given by DUTCH SLAVE TRADERS given by how they look.
Thats proof of how backwards the region is seeing as how sudan also has a similar sort of situation going on

BTW I was AP world history and have watched his history channel since I was 7 years old and enjoy looking up this kind of stuff on my spare time...maybe you need a lesson in history because you just seem like your typical moron by just saying things like "ITS EUROPE'S FAULT". Without giving any evidence or supporting statements. I ask you who seems ignorant in this argument?

How silly is that?

That comes from a person with terrible grammar.

I was playing HON while posting this I went back and edited it after I finished winning=P
Artesia is a bawse

PS Don't refute anything I say just insult. That makes you're point seem incredibly valid

Come back to me when you pass a high school history class

I haven't been elaborating because I didn't want to entertain your exercise in ignorance, likewise why I haven't completely spelled out why your first post is racist. This is a list of the atrocities in Africa and general effects of imperialism in Africa:

German lead Herero and Namaqua genocide
Congo Free State
Belgium creating formal class divisions in Rwanda and Burundi, making an oppressed Hutu class, further stratifying the classes and increasing tensions between the two classes.
Eliminating the tribal systems and putting rival tribes in the same area, creating social problems.
Eliminating the self-sufficient economic practices and replacing them with colonial friendly economic practices that benefitted Europeans at the expense of Africans (the same thing happened in India).
Creating generally oppressive governments designed around racial and class supremacy (South Africa, which you apparently think is a shining example of what happens when Africans don't run a country, is just a society with an affluent white and Indian population that partially hides the problems it has).

There's probably more that I can't think of at the moment. Shockingly slavery, large population losses, turning a continent upside down culturally and economically has lasting effects. These policies didn't magically end. They continued for quite a while (Apartheid didn't end until 20 years ago), and their legacy still exists today.
