I didn't see you do any 4B or 44B strings, those are a couple of Maxi's best moves. I think of you added those to your repertoire you'd be even more dangerous. You use a lot of A+B which is an ok move for speed but good players will be able to punish both the cancel or the entire move on block, depending on their character. Other than that, good gauge pressure and nice CE finish after the guard break.
 
Another one from me. I'm still at the point where playing safe gives me a damn headache. Thankfully this one's not a flickery mess.

So you kinda like 44B eh? LoL you used it every 2 moves... Her auto GI wouldve raped you if he used it... way too much 44B and 22A, LI A

44B is cool cuz you can hit confirm, or block, or do the whatever stance A,K but you pretty much only did 44B,B which is a big no no on block, luckily he didnt really know how to deal with it...

More pokes, more throws, less strings. Punish that 236B on block every time. It was only one match so I wont be too critical but GG!

I think Marginal was taking advantage of andurs lack of Maxi 44B mix ups. Paid off. But damn makes me wanna get my xbox fixed.

Pretty much.

andur knows enough about Maxi that he'll make a hobby of JG'ing my pokes. I switched it up for that one match since I was getting nowhere otherwise. Like I said, getting used to playing Maxi safer is giving me a headache. (I was 1-10 in that session.)

I'm on PSN, but I waited for the game to drop in price so I'm waiting for the PS3 version to arrive in the mail currently.

Good, cuz I really hate Maxi mirrors!! Occassional ones are ok. But straight FT10 maxi mirrors give a siezure!

@Marginal...After I just spouted off about hating Maxi mirrors, Its always nice to play to OG maxi players. At the very least I will take away a few tricks with me. Ill shoot you a friend request and we can throw nunchucks at each other. Im still getting used to this maxi to. I seldom have time to play anymore.

LOL funny you act like I havnt played Maxi when Ive played him since SC1. I just didnt like SCIV's version of him... I got some tricks you could learn as well... Get a fuckin mic though... I cant drop knowledge on you thru txt chat... I can barly work that shit on PSN anyway...

Maxi is def a tier above yoshi in this game so the roles are reversed from SCIV! I aint no slouch with him though, Ima post up a few Maxi match vids today for yall to yell at me about how bad I am since Im not an "OG"

Hmm, the auto-gi works in there? I will have to remember that. And yeah, you should be punishing 236B, you were letting me just toss it out at random all night, that move is too good to let me get away with abusing.

I AM a Yoshi OG... Funny thing is I started playing Maxi before Yoshi... but Ive pretty much used those two exclusively since SC1. They kinda just always went together for me... I think alot of yoshi players play maxi and alot of maxi players play yoshi. Just cuz you got into the game/forums for SCIV doesnt mean you know it all Old Man.

Um hell yea it GI's all mids. lol 44B,RO B is guaranteed ass everytime... Along with many other strings of his...

Yeah. I suppose I was too worried about the JG's.

Along those lines, watch that 22_88A ->LIA. You can't interrupt that string. It's punishable on block tho.
 
no. BL KK is i19 or so. You have to block it on ANTICIPATION, not REACTION. Big differnece.

Those well versed in Maxi, will know when BL stance is coming.
